Can’t tell in the video but Just a heads up the top of the amp station isn’t flat it’s angled out so if you shoot up with to much force it will bounce and slide back out

Yes we are considering the angled top of the amp station! We didn't build it into our field element yet but will have it there for day 3 when we are doing more testing! A big part of the reason we are pursuing more of a pick and place amp scoring mechanism rather than a shooter is because of the angled top!

Do you know what material the back of the amp is made out of? I noticed that you used cardboard, while a lot of other teams are using wood. I think that will greatly affect the bounciness of the note in the amp

Off the top of my head, I believe it is 1/4 in polycarbonate panels. Either way, it still will be way stiffer than cardboard but we had to use what we had on hand. If we saw it bounced too much while testing different intakes we knew it would not work.

How high off the ground is that roller at the pickup angle?

In our current pickup configuration, the center of the 2" front
roller is 2.75" off the ground. We'll post a full CAD by Wednesday including our super sketches that we used for the all the core mechanism geometry.
