The 10 as it is called is an amazing feat of aeronautical engineering. It has more power then it can possibly need and it's lines are truly unique. On my bucket list of personal business jets I would purchase and own, it ranks number 3 for me. I still love my Challenger 300 first. It's far more roomier and it's lines, in my opinion are impeccable. Oddly, my second favorite is not a biz jet, but a helicopter. I really love the Sikorski S76. It just has it all. Those are huge engines, no wondered it's the fastest private jet in its class. Sleek body with tall T-tail, smooth winglets and artfully paint job. You can imagine I am drooling over it.
I just watched a short video from about 4 years ago where they took one of these to fl510 for a short period then went back to fl490 for the rest of the flight. What a beautiful plane!

Fun fact: the engines are actually over-spec'd for that aircraft. They're restricted (a lot) to prevent the aircraft from overspeeding. So when a citation x is at full power, those engines really aren't even breaking a sweat, which is why they never break!

Millionares can't afford this. You would have to be a billionare to even consider it. The cost of ownership would drain your bank account, pilots and fuel don't come cheap.
unclear on whether Cessna 'ever got' the actual *New X (Ten) thru production. i recall hearing about it...but, wasn't that still at a time (few years back) when the entire economy was still sluggish and in the slumps. hence... made the drawing board, but never actually saw production? i know they 'have' produced the Latitude and a few other 'newer' models.... and am wondering if the 'slated TEN"... simply ended up morphing into some other model they settled for. (Latitude) anyone privy to this? ... thanks!

Piperjet was truly innovative. Shame it got canned.
It was not. It was a Malibu with an engine awkwardly perched on top. Like most Piper products, it was designed to be cheap and low quality.
Nice plane but , those engines look a little disproportionate or to big in regards of the fuselage diameter, it just looks weird
