This version is better than the original imo. I think Andy plays it only ever so slightly faster, as a result some of the notes become muffled. Sungha here seems to have more patience and makes sure every note is played fully. Impressive stuff, very difficult technical piece.
I like Andy's version and I like Sungha's version, but one thing that seems to set them apart is that it seems Sungha is playing more technically, whereas Andy plays a little more off the cuff. Same song, same arrangement, both played wonderfully though, and I listen to both. Just seems like Sungha is playing the music, whereas Andy is *feeling* the music.
I think your own is better than the original xD ( sorry Sir Andy McKee , for comparing ) at that age you can play better than the legend.. ( i know you're a teenager now ) Thumbs up Idol :)
you are so wrong with your coment Sungha Jung is an excelent guitar player since he was a child, which is really amazing but he mostly makes cover, now think about andy mckee as the creator of this song which is not the same as just making a cover, think about the guitar tunes and all the percutions etc both are awesome, no one is better when both are already good on what they do
Yuri Grillo Andy composed this....that creativity cannot be covered. Sure it's talent that this kid had but just because he can play a song someone else composed doesn't make him a prodigy. People cover songs all the time. If this change child composed something this phenomenal then I'd agree with your comment.

After veiwing many of his videos, it was like watching him grow about five years in the two month time period. I am very impressed with his playing of the guitar. I have purchased his CD "Perfect Blue" and I can report, IT IS GREAT. (HWT - USA)
You're right. I've been following Sungha since 2008. I was looking for the Mama and the Papa's California Dreamin' and lo and behold, there was Sungha with his acoustic version. I've been a fan ever since!
