Well I just found the way I am going to put a 350 watt panel on my old 2006 Chrysler Town and Country Ham Radio van.. Going to feed a 300 amp 12v LiFePo4 battery and this install will be fast and simple..
Could you please relate the distance that the crab mount extends from the edge of the solar panel when mounted (including the bracket width). Thanks. I'm considering purchasing a BougeRV Crab Mount kit to mount a BougeRV 200w 16BB N-type bifacial panel (width is 30.2") to my Dodge Grand Caravan that has OEM racks with 36" available between the uprights. So, I have approximately 5.8"/2 = 2.9" on either side of the panel to attach the mount. Does the crab mount plus bracket exceed that width? Might be a tight fit. Great overview of the mount kit. Thanks for posting the video.

I've been very happy with these. I typically mount a solar panel when I go camping or on a road trip to power my portable power station and fridge.
Thank you for sharing
Thank you. Great video!

If I measure from the side of the solar panel to the outer edge of the mount I get around 1-7/8".
@@Rickmakes OK. Looks like it should work for my vehicle. Thanks for taking the time to measure it.
In mine the water gets in even without a cable so whatever lol
