Actually loving this! Bruce brought so much to the band. A new sound, a new direction, but never did the band lose it's identity. RIP Bruce Guthro

Always remember seeing the band with Bruce the month after Tonder, in Bristol UK, followed by London. Was sold within a few minutes of him singing his first notes

Runrig was never the same since Donnie Munro left,Donnie had a distinctive voice which in reality made the group. We were at his
final performance at Stirling castle in 1997,great memories but sad.

Donnie is still a great singer - and he WAS a great 'front-man' for Runrig. However, HE was the one who decided to leave the band for 'pastures new'. Without Bruce Guthro, we would not have had all the wonderful songs, concerts, tours of the past 20 years! You REALLY should try listening to a bit more of Runrig's stuff with him upfront. Don't forget that these were recorded very soon after he joined ................he WAS good! But, more importantly, HE GOT EVEN BETTER. Please give him another chance - or are you afraid that you 'might just enjoy his singing' because you want to 'remain loyal to Donnie' ................... I'm sure that Donnie won't mind ;-)!

Boah - yes, Donnie had an exceptional voice, but Runrig was so much more! Exceptional song writing, exceptional guitar player, exceptional drummer... and Bruce also has a great voice. So - why keep harping on "Donnie left and booohoooo"? He left, his decision, he saw something else in his future. Runrig was still one of the best bands ever - in my opinion.
