Nice segment! I’m in the Devo rabbit hole and found this. I feel like there’s a significant chunk of the story missing just before you zoom to the Saturday Night Live performance. But I understand that would lengthen the video. I’m interested in knowing more about the time from Shout to Smooth Noodle Maps. I feel like the lack of success matched the band’s creative energy. I’ve never seen them play anything from those albums live.
I love your vibe and will check out your videos!

@@dbmusicproductions9181 thank you. I don't think there was a lot to tell between those two albums. They were very much low points that led to their breakup.

@@dandyfunhouse yes, it’s very strange because “Oh no” was, I think, a pretty high point. I saw them live for each of Freedom, NT and Oh No tours and while each was very memorable-they were a very unique and entertaining live group-the Oh No tour was the best production of the three. So it was strange to see the next two albums with little creative energy. Maybe they were just spent?
As I reminisce, there’s not another band I’ve ever seen that provided as much excitement at a concert as Devo. They were only one of my favorite groups at the time, but their concerts were second to none.
