I've been thinking about buying that specific cake makeup and tried to find a video which just shows what it does, coverage, positive feedback and negative feedback... Found it all here. Short, easy to understand, comfortable. Thumbs up!
@saphire778 I agree:) Actually, I picked this shade on purpose. Because it doesn't match my complexion, the viewers can really see the texture of the foundation and how easily it glides and blends into the skin.
If you want to stick to cake make up, then, as I said before, powder it well, and keep oil blotting sheets with you. And, no need for primer with cake make up. If you want to move to liquid foundation, get an oil-free one (Revlon Colorstay, Mac Studio Fix fluid) or a powder foundation (Shiseido and Kanebo make really nice ones. Also Mac Studio Fix powder). WIth liquid and powder foundations, I'd recommend a primer.
@TheJiaaa As for fixing spray, I always use MUFE Mist & Fix. I hear Skindinavia's great too, but havent tried it. Temperatures are as high in summer where I live as well. But I expect you spend most of your time indoors in this heat, no? Anyway, you can find good oil-free sunscreen that acts as a moisturizer. Look into pharmaceutical brands (SVR, Avene, Vichy etc...). Hope that helps!
Try wetting a NON-latex sponge (the kind that expands when you wet it), then squeezing out excess water from sponge. After that, dab the sponge in the supra foundation and spread on your face. It should work. Thats how I used it for TV before. One other possible reason might be that the product was expired before you even bought it. Or it was kept in the wrong temperature or outside conditions while being stocked or shipped...
Hi! I honestly dont remember what I used. I think t was FS38, maybe. Sometimes getting the perfect color involves mixing 2 or more shades. Try it:) I know I ALWAYS do, on myself and on tv presenters and customers.
@TheJiaaa Hey! Thanks for commenting:) Ok, first off, if you have oily skin, you should always use the right products to prep your skin before make up. So, you need to invest in a good light-weight mattifying moisturizer. This will control the sebum secretion on your face throughout the day. Also, you might want to add a water-based foundation primer. Lastly, after using cake make up, do powder the face AND use a setting spray. This should solve the problem :) Let me know how it goes!
This is a classic foundation. This was original ou create for film industry and it became a fenonemon. Till this day there's not a better foundation. Just imagi ed that was used since the 30's to this day (Theater, photography, e.t.c). I've worked with many foundation and this looks like perfect airbrush skin. High tecnology is used on this and it can look natural without being heavy on skin.
Hey there! Supra color indeed WAS a big favorite for TV until the birth of HD:) It doesnt look so good on HD TV. Anyway, to answer your question, it probably depends on your skin type. Do you have very dry skin? Did you moisturize your face before applying the foundation? There is no magic way to apply it. A sponge or brush would do. I'm guessing it's not suitable for your skin type, but I'm only guessing as I havent seen you or the way it looks on you...
would you say that the foundation, once that is dried, the colour on the face looks ligther than the colour on the pan??? That's what happens with the most of the cake foundations, but in your video looks like the make up colour is the same...
@TheJiaaa I would strongly advise you to see a dermatologist for skincare. He or she would know exactly what to prescribe for YOU. Personnally, I think Dermalogica's oil control lotion is great. And regarding primers, with cake make up, I think it's more about the oil-control moisturizer rather than a primer. Water activated make up will slide over a greasy base. So, stick with a lightweight oil-control lotion, powder the skin and keep oil blotting sheets with you at all times.
I never had trouble with the color changing after a while. That has only happened when I tried a BB cream. Maybe it has to do with what you use before applying foundation...
I don't think so. The textures and formulas are too different. The cake make up should be enough, even if you habe uneven skintone or any related issue!
hey, im wanting to buy this foundation, well the TV Stick but dont know what shade suits me! i am a nc25 in foundation and nw25 for concealer with mac, any recommendations?x
Hey there, I have FS 36 shade which matches my complexion very closely, can u plz help me in finding the same match in different other foundations like MAC, Borjois, Revlon? I really need ur help? Reply soon plz?
plz help !! kryolan supra color cream foundation(very similar packaging to one in z review),I bought in a very light shade which suits me perfectly.actually I bought it just because of z color as I NEVER can find a REALLY pale foundation,.so the color was great but It looked odd on face;extremely dry, clogged pores,.disgustin' !! I was told then that it's used for tv,. am not a pro but i wonder how can use it,.I applied it with a sponge, tried mixin it with a cream but it didn't work, plz help :)
Hi Wajeeha! I'd love to help you, however I don't have access to FS36 at the moment, in order to determine what MIGHT work for you in other brands. However, I suggest you trust the salespeople at the counters, let them test a few shades on you before you purchase. In case you're asking because you want to buy a new foundation online, I don't recommend it at all...that's just me. I'd say, just go to the make up counters, and trust the salespeople. Hope it helps!
make up in the video looks perfect but with me it was different., my skin isn't dry,.combination skin.I applied a heavy hydrating clarins cream before putting z foundation and mixed the foundation with it while applying,.because it looked extremely dry on my face although z product is creamy, heavy, and very pigmented It can't be easily spread,it clogged in the pores and lines made them appear,it was like a mask, and the main thing that it's EXTREMELY DRY(maybe it's made 4 dancers who sweat a lot)
hey, i saw this makeup in other video and i wanted to buy it but i dont know what color goes for me, and i found your video and im the same color as you what color do you have? please tell me so i can buy it :) thank you
I know it's another product in z video although they look alike,. but in z video it looks kinda dry and stiff,. mine was very creamy and greasy so I can't stop wondering why it was dry on face :( and thank you :)
Honestly, I don;t own the whole range, hehehe...You must need to go to the shop and test it on yourself. I cannot give you an exact matching shade off the top of my head:)
Yah... me too... I love fs38.. that such make your face in perfect coverage.. n the important one... the result make u fell beautiful n natural.. I love kryolan code fs 38... mwahhh

Yes, you should! (But only if you are absolutely you wont cry or sweat much, as it will not hold well). In this video, I used the shade FS38.

Thanks.... I got this from a friend from a different country, and I had no idea how to use it! I was using it dry with a kabuki brush...
I personnally use Mac's pre and Prime on clients and it really makes the foundation blend and last.
