Yea..me too.. Don't forget to watch the great movie that make this song as one of the soundtrack "MEN ON FIRE" - Denzel Washington.. tel me if you have watched the movie ya
I feel so bad I got a worried mind I'm so lonesome all the time Since I left my baby behind On Blue Bayou Saving nickles, saving dimes Working til the sun don't shine Looking forward to happier times On Blue Bayou I'm going back someday Come what may To Blue Bayou Where the folks are fun And the world is mine On Blue Bayou Where those fishing boats With their sails afloat If I could only see That familiar sunrise Through sleepy eyes How happy I'd be Gonna see my baby again Gonna be with some of my friends Maybe I'll feel better again On Blue Bayou Saving nickles saving dimes Working til the sun don't shine Looking forward to happier times On Blue Bayou I'm going back someday Come what may To Blue Bayou Where the folks are fun And the world is mine On Blue Bayou Where those fishing boats With their sails afloat If I could only see That familiar sunrise Through sleepy eyes How happy I'd be Oh that boy of mine By my side The silver moon And the evening tide Oh some sweet day Gonna take away This hurting inside Well I'll never be blue My dreams come true On Blue Bayou
Her voice to this day still blows my mind. A computer couldn't duplicate Ali. Not sure what is more beautiful, her or her voice. Win win no matter how you see it.
This is the perfect stunning star for me.. im addicted hearing her voice.. so blessed she was... and always make my tears fall n couldnt define wether happy or sad but so much always want to hear her song.
When this young actress now professional songstress sang on the voice I was shocked it turn out to be curly sue! Omg! She was a young woman a wife and a mother of two babies. Then that pivotal moment she started to sing one of my favorite songs i was so speechless Like millions around the world who watched and listen to her beautiful voice! You knew she was the voice period. Christina took her on a once in a life time Journey! A jaw dropping beautiful Journey! After that evening I couldn't get over her voice that song omg! Then I loss track til tonight I finally watched and listened to all the music she sang Cried tears of happiness for this artist who WON the ears and hearts around the world. Whatever they put out for alisan to sing wow!! She tore it up. Blues, country, R&B, old school, Cry Baby! Janis was looking down throwing 2 thumbs up. She made Janis proud. I know I'm a few years late CONGRATULATIONS!! IM A HUGE FAN!!
Noelani you are right. I think that there is no doubt that Alisan has an amazing voice, but the studio recording doesn't do her justice. The recording sounds flat, not in pitch but in the sound of it. The quality of the recording is excellent, but it doesn't accentuate the moments in the song that should send shivers down your spine. The (volume) levels are the same throughout, when there should be some dynamics, especially near the end, and I think that there should be just a touch of reverb, to make it sound like she's singing live like in the audition. It's just my opinion though, I'm only an amature producer. I hope the record producers read our comments.
SPOT ON MATE. She is perfect but the recording sounds "dry". It NEEDS those "ethereal" moments (reverb). It's also such a thing these days to level up everything the same which doesn't let the sound "breathe"... it's ALL right up front, at all times, in your face. Like telling someone you like sugar and being force fed fairy floss. LET IT BREATHE.
@Ken Franks, I agree with you. I think Alisan Porter has a great voice, however, when Linda Ronstadt sang it, it just flowed out of her. Linda didn't have to strain her voice in the least. Yes! Linda was incredible through those years. Still GREAT to me.
@@lauraparker5437 I go back to Roy Orbison's original version with a voice so warm it wrapped itself around you as you listened. Linda, in comparison, sounded a bit harsh at times. That said, I enjoyed Linda's version as well, and also this one. However, I'll go back to Roy'a version for the most enjoyment, and it's not because heard it first and it meant something special or whatever. He has the warmest sound, and probably the best voice of all the male singers in those days (excepting perhaps Elvis), and there's still nobody with a voice like his. And I say that as someone who is not a huge fan of Orbison as I don't like most of his songs.
I’m in love with this version I don’t care what you say

I'm with you on that. As soon as she nailed that note in will say I knew she should win .
Same here.
Me too.
One of the best blind auditions ever!
I wish she was more popular.
❤ I love her 💞
Sweetest version I ever heard..

I feel so bad I got a worried mind
I'm so lonesome all the time
Since I left my baby behind
On Blue Bayou
Saving nickles, saving dimes
Working til the sun don't shine
Looking forward to happier times
On Blue Bayou
I'm going back someday
Come what may
To Blue Bayou
Where the folks are fun
And the world is mine
On Blue Bayou
Where those fishing boats
With their sails afloat
If I could only see
That familiar sunrise
Through sleepy eyes
How happy I'd be
Gonna see my baby again
Gonna be with some of my friends
Maybe I'll feel better again
On Blue Bayou
Saving nickles saving dimes
Working til the sun don't shine
Looking forward to happier times
On Blue Bayou
I'm going back someday
Come what may
To Blue Bayou
Where the folks are fun
And the world is mine
On Blue Bayou
Where those fishing boats
With their sails afloat
If I could only see
That familiar sunrise
Through sleepy eyes
How happy I'd be
Oh that boy of mine
By my side
The silver moon
And the evening tide
Oh some sweet day
Gonna take away
This hurting inside
Well I'll never be blue
My dreams come true
On Blue Bayou
Thanks
Where the folks are fine... not fun sorry.
Pra mim a melhor cantora do The voice de todos os tempos.

best the voice audition performance ever
Whoooooo super voice!!!!
Alisan Porter-nek, már a legfelsőbb kategóriában kellene énekelnie!!!! Gyönyörű hangja, ki követelné az első helyet!!!!
My favourite line is I'll never be blue, my dreams come true, on Blue Bayou ❤️

Nowadays I just want to feel enough with God, I don't need anything else. If I achieve this, I will have finally matured.
I love this song
Phenomenal.
It's a shame that The Voice just drops them after they are announced the winner of the season.
Meh it’s just a springboard. How they hit the water is still up to them.
@@dearthofdoohickeys4703 It's not even a springboard for the contestants. It's just a spotlight for the judges.
and that's why she won
Não me canso de ouvir esse clássico. 😳😍
👌👌mean memories
Formidable 😘😘
linda , alison .... both great....search for the german version by paola.....also very nice

First ever heard this song in the film Man Of Fire.

😊😇
I always wondered what happened to Curly Sue! ❤❤❤
My Dog Is Getting Sleepy, While I play this Song.
😂😂
Surely you all know this set is from a recording studio?????
LOL... It was probably recorded in ONE TAKE!
Missing a verse here or there, considering it was for The Voice, but her rendition would make Roy proud.
Been honestly. The xfactor online vesion is yoo much better, she sings with her soul.
To focused on her sound, no heart, but a phenomenal song....when Linda Ronstadt sings it!
Mate absolutely facts I can't stand this version Linda was far more refined I'm so glad in this whole comment section of losers your alright
She mine
Kasian rigen di cengin dustin 😂
Doesn't she look like Arizona from grey's anatomy
i thought of that too omg
You
Different twist on "Blue Bayou"; sounds a bit forced. ***Can't compare to Linda's.
