Northumberland wildcamping part 2. simonside hills camp

- my 2nd night in Northumberland, I drove across and wikdcamped on the simonside hills, in the Dutch hooped bivvy, very changeable weather, but loved this one, enjoy, atb craig
Hi Craig, great spot and no room for a tent for sure, I bet you can’t believe how you have to fight for a car parking space and spot on the hill up here, it’s so busy lol
Thanks for the mention, it was the Cheviots you could see, and the hill fort opposite is great for a quick camp, the ditches seem to stay dry, you don’t need a tent for sure, when you can set up a nice tarp like you did and get far wider views than with an open door.
