This one was really well done, and I’ve been following these new environmentally friendly tech advancements for a while now. Curious, was this an independent “first look” or a partnership/sponsorship?
Thank you, we appreciate the feedback. Montane supplied the jacket at our request to enable us to show the jacket properly in use, but we were not sponsored for this content. Ben has continued to wear the solution since filming this and will be putting out more thoughts on it once it has been more thoroughly tested.
Ben is wearing the Haglofs Rugged Standard Pants. They are not completely waterproof, relying on a DWR, but the knees, seat and bottom cuffs have a layer of waterproof fabric for reinforcement and should mean if you're kneeling or sitting down you should stay dry in those areas. www.trekitt.co.uk/clothing/trousers-shorts/haglofs-rugged-standard-pants-magnetite__49363
Montane put this in their Regular fit, which is a little slimmer than some other brands, but Ben found the size Large to fit well with enough room (just) for a warmer layer underneath. Ben is 6'3" with a 43" chest, long arms and torso, so your mileage may vary. The XL gave more room in the chest and under the arms for him, but was then too loose in the main body, so Large was the one to go for.
Looks like my next jacket, presently brilliantly in this superb review. Thank you!
Glad you liked it. Let us know how you get on with the Solution!

What pants are these? Are they waterproof? Thanks

It's just a shame that PFC free DWR is so terrible.
Why?
