The lecture was excellent, such a shame YT is placing more and more and more ads that do a wonderful job at ruining the experience. Well done YT!!!

I really enjoyed this lecture. As a person who already enjoys a daily practice, I found your tips, your instruction and imagery to be relaxing, fresh, useful and lightly dotted with humor. Excellent delivery!

The Hindus were practising this 5000 years ago. The man who became the Buddha was a Hindu. He rejected the caste system but built on the meditation practices; hence Buddhism.

Not really so. He disagreed immensely with Hinduism. Moreover, many of his teachings are probably his own discovery. While he did learn meditation from other teachers, he taught his own stuff as well.

Mindfulness is an awareness of the invisible mental waves that are around us an interacting with us unknowingly. The feeling to pick up the phone the same time someone is calling without it ringing for example. To bring it down to just a thought process is taking away the power of it.

I work for behavioural health, and I find medicine so, so much more interesting. I watch you and I ferl like I'm at one of our boring trainings, and all I can do is look at you and say, what, are, you, even, doing? No attention span. I just don't get it. I do the om shanti meditation, it's much easier to stick through it with him

Vipassana Meditation should be done at a Retreat. There are these 10 Day Retreats that you are supposed to go to. S N Goenka is the one who popularised Vipassana. They train you for 10 days and you understand what it's about. I haven't done it yet, but I have read about it and watched some videos. Hope to do it after Covid.

He keeps saying I'm going to feel this or that. Oh, brother. I can't, dude, I think, I can't stop thinking without some more talking through, sorry, but I'm simply annoyed, because this reminds me how I'm in the wrong field. I like medicine, but I work for behavioural health
