    I also did the same exam. Scored 100% as well. With a little practice anyone can do it.

    @FutureFab CNC & 3D Printing,
    The sample exam has some questions that we need to type in. is the real exam all multiple choices?
    Thanks!!

    i took it, 82min, 235/240. stupid broken out section fooled me xD
    its realy not that hard, if you have used the program for a while.
    a great tip, practice building up a sketch using equations. a= b= c= that will save you a lot of time, wenn the next questions comes, and you have to edit these

      Do you mind expanding on the broken out section? Was this the first part of the exam where they're asking you questions about different types of views or was this in the later part where you have to do physical CAD?

    Was the practice exam part ACTUALLY similar to what the real exam was like? Or would you say the real exam was harder?

    • @FuturefabOrgUk
      @FuturefabOrgUk  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Real exam was similar but longer. If you can do the practice exam you are in good shape!

      FutureFab CNC & 3D Printing thanks! I’ve got the modeling down but the assemblies are what I need to spend more time in. My global variables in assemblies aren’t working do you have any ideas?

    • @FuturefabOrgUk
      @FuturefabOrgUk  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Sadly not. I can say that the assembly part is pretty easy and not using global variables isn't a big deal in that particular section. You'll be fine!
      Just heed the tip about bringing in the base part first as that defines the coordinate system quickly and allows you to get the CoM quickly and easily.
      Good luck, let me know how you get on!

    This is the sample test, ...

      It may look like it but it was the real one. The terms of the SOLIDWORKS testing environment prevent me from showing the full contents of the test.
