I was out at the same night as you in Nimman and I was literally shivering. This is the warmest weather I have ever experienced in my life during January and I am cold (...go figure). I guess its all relative. The next night I ventured out and wore a pair of long pants and long-sleeved shirt. It better not get any colder because that is my limit on warmer clothes. 😆 As far as knowing Chiang Mai and not wanting repetition of this knowledge, you need not worry about that. When you are in places that I already know, it is still fun to see it on TH-cam and sometimes your information gives answers to some of the questions I have about that location. Love the Channel, Jon. Keep it up!
Had some fun nights in Number 1 bar back in the day 😅… Nice to see a night time walk about 🙂 CapCut voice isolation works wonders for cutting out background music or your own voice if needed. I know CapCut is a little bit like marmite, but it does have some cool features 🙃
I appreciate you telling us the streets your on when walking. Thanks for the Indian restaurant suggestion! It must be hard not to gain weight there with all of the carbs in the diet like rice, fruit and the sugar in the sauces. Plus the seed oil they use for frying, all not very healthy for us. I unfortunately gained a lot of weight when I lived in Chiang Mai, but that was because I was eating at Butter Is Better and Dukes too often . Enjoy your channel
Decent vid Jon. Could you please put a google map up of the route!. Been there several times since covid. I recognize lot's of spots, not all though Cheers Simon
I certainly WOULDN'T call it "Ice-Cold" but compared to what I left a couple days ago on Cape Cod, it wasn't anything but pleasantly warm to me! Great to be back in CM again and thanks for doing your great video on my road, Jon! Hopefully you and I can meet up while I'm here in the kingdom! Cheers from Veerachai Court! 🙂
I appreciate the walk arounds. It gives me a good idea of the general layout of the Old City and what the crowds look like.
Thanks mate

It’s pretty chilly these days in Chiang Mai. I have to wear a hoodie early mornings and at night.
The queue at the roti roughly 2-3 times longer then in low season
👍
Have you been to Lana square. We love it! Especially the Korean fried chicken stall yummmm
Hmm, don't think I've been there yet
Greetings Jon, the burning season is coming soon...better order some masks. Great tour by the way. Thanks
Probably need masks for the HMPV Virus "Pandemic" that's being slowly ramped up.
Yep
Let's be honest and point out that at present Southern and Central Thailand have far worse air quality than lovely Chiang Mai 😊
13 degrees this morning. 🥶🥶🥶
🥶
Check out Phuket! Then you’ll know what busy looks like Jon.
👍

How about a walking tour where you point out the best soapy massages?
Sayuri is the only decent one I think
Hello jon 🤡
Too many turists...better Pattaya if to see farangs strolling around in Thailand.
