Oh my gosh, I love the lion! You are so multi-talented, I think you could make a business selling your sewing if you enjoy it enough. And you are such a lovely little caring family! One little note - "crochet" in English is usually pronounced in the French way, "croh-shay", rather than "crot-chett" with the hard "t"s.
That is how we pronounce "cro-chet" in Spanish!

The world now is in chaos, the pandemic and lots of other "noises" in our lives. Sometimes having these quiet moments are very rewarding and precious. When the baby comes, your little family will be more vibrant, but all these are so precious. We just have to live in the present, live at the moment, every minute is valuable, who knows what lies ahead. Enjoy and treasure yourselves with what you have.

It's so nice to see you doing all these handicrafts! That lion pillow cover is so adorable. I've been crocheting, knitting and sewing since I was a child, and I even taught for a while. But I have issues with my hands now, and though I can sew a lot on the machine, cutting fabric for too long, even with a rotary cutter, causes pain for my hands, and the only things I ever knit or crochet nowadays are hats, since they are small, don't take too long. Near the beginning of the pandemic, I made hundreds of masks, mostly to give away to family and friends, but I had to stop because I started feeling pain. I miss being able to do these things all the time. I had knit and crocheted dozens of blankets for people in the past, and I can no longer do that.

Don’t worry too much, the world is so flat now, although your hubby looks like a slow starter. But more precious is he is so brave, good looking and tall, not shy to show the true him. He Will be welcomed by your people. Scandinavia is still so colourful and far to the Chinese people. If you still wanna share your adventures with us in the future your channel will be more popular with no doubt. The stories from your hubby and your 2 lovely kids will be so sweet to a lot of people. And btw the Swedish speak English so well. Maybe your hubby still better to focus on English first rather than Scandinavian. But now just relax and expect the new family member please. Miriam, your video is so peaceful to watch, it's almost like I was there. You are able to relax and be yourself and both your husband and son seem to be enjoying themselves. Don't worry, I have multi wips (work in progress) I think it's healthy to give yourself a change of creativity. I remember I painted so much when almost having my babies. Three hours before giving birth to my oldest I painted the opium poppies in my garden, sitting there painting with that big belly. You're a good team together.

I just followed your channel. To be honest, I am surprised that you will marry a young farmer in Qinghai. I know how huge the difference is (because I come from a rural village in Gansu next door to Qinghai and currently live in Shenzhen in the south). It subverts the traditional concept and culture of ordinary Chinese that "everyone is right". I hope you will live a happy life! And admire your courage to choose this kind of life and the tolerance of your Swedish parents! Perhaps the sentence has been fulfilled: "Love can overcome everything." obstacle"

Is interesting to see how small the world really is. That crochet rug you have been working on is something my mother has made me years. When I was young my job was rolling the straps into a ball, then I was able to use a needle and I could sew them together. (There is a way now to join them together without sewing if your interested just google). My mom taught 3 of my friends to make them and she gave them away as gifts. We would hunt the thrift stores foe skirts she could cut down and hook into rugs. Then she used sheets. She also made round ones for kitchen chair seat covers and tied them in. So what I always took at an Appalachian craft was made all over the world! You can also sell them, just a thought. Your mom is a beautiful knitter and your dads paintings are beautiful, does he sell them? You guys look warm and healthy. Enjoy your nesting time and prayers for a easy delivery!

It’s not often that you get to see how two cultures brought together by family gets to know each other. I think you’re very fortunate to have such a nice mother in law, and your husband very lucky to have found someone one with an equally welcoming family, even overcoming a difference in language. Thank you for telling your story, which is increasingly relevant in today’s world. I look forward to the future episodes especially the fusion of Chinese and Swedish cuisine!

Sometimes I like to watch this video again. For the loving little family and to hear Miriam in English with her soft voice in a language I can understand . I love the cute cottage in the woods in the winter. The music is lovely too. And to see SanSan with the light in his eyes and his cute smiling face. I still hope for an English translation with the videos from China. Time goes so fast. SanSan is a real boy now growing up. The new baby already a toddler and just as cute.

I cried a little at the end when your husband says not to worry and that he is happy. You both really care about each others wellbeing and that is really special and shows much love. When I saw your rug, I immediately turned to my project that has been stocked for sometime now... yeah, I am also making one I recycled from my old clothes, it's a long rectangular rug for my hallway maybe.

We are living in Ireland thanks god before pandemic we got a chance back to Sweden for 2 weeks visited my husband family n friends. Hopefully pandemic will over we got a chance back to Malaysia visit my side of the family

Hope your delivery will be easy and Yonghong will get his "swedish experience" whatever it means 🙂 Doctors here say the virus will weaken when summer comes and vaccinations so the situation might be better within 3-4 months.
It's always the case that the flu "weakens" after March so by summer it's never very problematic.
Gosh such a beautiful video! You have such a lovely family, all pitching in to help you get sorted :) I do have a little thing, and this is not a criticism! You do speak at least 3 languages after all! But here in England at least, we pronounce crochet as 'crow-shay', I'm now not sure if that's the right way or not!
