Aww! I miss Santa Cruz! I’m so happy you and Josh and Marshie had such a fun adventure !! It’s where your Daddy grew up and you made him proud. So many magical memories together with you and your sister as little girls!! You even visited places I’ve never been to!!!
I thought this whole time you had gone to the mystery spot!!!!!! It was very special to go back & see all the family spots and new ones. That brookdale lodge is crazy 😅
Fun! I’m 4th generation Santa Cruz. My great-grandfather did the concrete for the carousel and the Giant Dipper over 100 years ago. My uncle designed the Giant Dipper sign found on the roller coaster. The weather is temperate here and the seashore and redwoods are pretty amazing… it’s hard to leave!
Why is Marshie so gorgeous? 🥺 Most handsomest boi of all, he’ll be able to find Big Foot soon! And I’m lovin these shorter formats just as much as the previous longer ones, both formats are great! Keep up the good work ❤
I love Santa cruz I lived there for six years in the early 90s, I am from Mexico City. I hope to go back some day just for spiritual healing. I am now 60 y/o. I attended cabrillo College where I was part of the great cross country team. Thank u for the video.
The 5:11 statue gets decorated seasonally. I think they put a pumpkin on his head in the Autumn and stuff. Surprised you caught him without the lei he has on; maybe most of the year.
This is sooo COOL! I wanna try every single thing here. I’ve never seen Bigfoot personally…but then again he IS elusive! 👣 how did it feel with zero gravity? I’m jealous! 🥰💖
Thank you so much for watching & for your kind words Elaine! ❤ that is absolutely amazing that you work at a Brookdale Lodge. Have you ever seen Sarah Logan??! 😱😍😭👻
Yes! When I bartended at the Lodge in 2001. I wasn’t aware of the history of the place at the time. It was eerie, and fascinating at the same time. I now work in the market and a few times things have flown off the shelf. ✌️
@@Anxiousrat323 if by Karen you mean a local who is tired of seeing tourists wreck havoc on my hometown, sure. Seriously, though... grow up. It's clear those fences aren't supposed to be crossed. It's a state park. That's disrespectful behavior.
My wife and I owned a home in Scotts Valley for 16 years. We left when we could no longer understand our neighbors, most were from the middle East and spoke little English. Our neighborhood was called Oak Creek, mostly engineers, they made incomes to afford the homes.
been to cowell park van club got kick out were not even out of parking lot yet, rode train, had lunch at lodge never seen ghost, boardwalk, walked across train bridge, rode motorcycles on hwy 9, ate at my first Togo,s sandwich shop, saw Clint Eastwood filming on the area a few times, ate in his restaurant
Mystery Spot is no one optical illusion. It's a gimmick. Optical illusions may be in play from room to room, though, such as when the relative height of two people appears to change when they swap positions on a seemingly level surface. Largely; figure it's all just trick architecture. Everything's built so objects will swing, roll, or fall counterintuitively. One telling point: Knott's Berry Farm is a number of hours' drive from there. It's a theme park replete with rides and costume characters. One feature is a cabin (with the neighboring structures) with tricksy aspects similar to those of The Mystery Spot.
Nope I am a local for over 30 years and nothing in how you have it in this video. Roaring camp is only seasonal and the amount of homeless drug addicts are countless and worry some. And no they are not fire resistant at all! One tree was burnt down by a homeless lady trying to get high! And the amount of homeless that wonder the woods and terrible!
I absolutely adore Santa Cruz. The boardwalk is insane. I also love the mystery spot. I have been there three times and I still can’t understand it.
Very interesting portrait. Surprisingly I have not heard much of Santa Cruz. The mystery spot seems pazzo
Wow that mystery spot is really something!!! AMAZING video!
It's so awesome in how many Places u Travel to!! Absolutely adore u , Elle
You guys are great. Love that marshmallow scares Bigfoot.
Ben Lomond such a charming little town.
I think we need to go back and do a larger search for Bigfoot!!!
These are some great suggestions for things to do in Santa Cruz!

Those are some important parts of our history here! I would lovd to learn more about the ghosts of lexington station too

The mystery spot looks so awesome. I wonder how it works?
Bigfoot is probably just a myth and the mystery spot is def an illusion. Still both are very entertaining
Such a great video. I love Santa Cruz, and somebody finally showed the mountain side as well.
I have never been and always wanted to go. The place where gravity is all wonky looks so cool.
So this is so cool. I want to go ride those rides
Great memories visiting Santa Cruz with my family
BIGFOOT!!!!!! 🗣️
Born & Raised Santa Cruz. A very spiritual dark beautiful place. It’s all we know. It’s a privilege to live here.
🎉😊👣
This is a fun video to watch!
This looks so fun!
Can’t wait to visit!🎉🎉
Santa Cruz is such a weird place but I still love it

Heathers x Bigfoot seems like a good crossover!
(Sorry for bein late Heather!)
It’s okay Heather :) I love your style!!!!! I’ve got it: Bigfoot actually has a tiny lifeboat and is misunderstood about his size
This looks amazing and I would love to go
This was a hoot to watch! I work at the Brookdale Lodge. You represented this majestic area of the Santa Cruz Mtns so beautifully! Great editing ✌️

love it!
Hey nice documentary of my hometown, I was curious what kinda camera you guys are shooting with? Sony maybe? Love the doggo too! good vibes!
Santa Cruz is special
:)
Those fences on the redwood trail loop are there for a reason. Please stay on the trails when visiting our parks.

When I was growing up in Santa Cruz, the Mystery Spot was across the street from my parents home on Branciforte Drive.
Really?!?! That’s amazing!!! What’s your favorite thing to do in Santa Cruz? My dad is from Scotts Valley!!!!

@@ElleMcLemore i love your performance! You are the best HM out there!
@@panizshariat7892 thank you so so much 💛 I had a lot of fun creating that role
lived here for 12 years, you have to go to west cliff, and a pizza restaurant called Buzzos
I need to take that train! 🚂

A fantastic episode. I think Bigfoot is a bunch of BS!
Berkeley is way weirder. So is Slab City.
Why do they always have a white dress?
