- FIX these MISTAKES to UNLOCK the SKELETON CURSE. In this video I show the mistakes I was making while trying to acquire the skeleton curse, the hope is you will learn from my mistakes and improve your PVP fights too

YEAH MAN!!!!! Love to hear it 😀 No lie those are my favorite kind of fights. Both Masts down, bucketing, trying to get snipes mid buckets and a few sneaky cannon shots hahaha Love it
Facts dude. Just yesterday I was broadside to broadside with someone. Put a bunch of holes in their ship but got one balled as my chain shot was flying at their mast. Came back to my ship being the literal closest I’ve ever been to sinking while still being beamed with cannons. Went up top and sniped the guy in shot off his cannon and he sunk almost immediately. He got so greedy once he got the one ball and my mast that he didn’t top up his health or patch any holes and paid the price.
As a solo slooper these are all great tips, especially keeping pressure on while down. Most times I forgo bilging if I have still have broad on them. If you do loose your mast and can rotate your ship to match their death spiral, maintain broads and just unload cannon fodder into them.
These are so simple but I find myself falling for these as well, it’s easy at times to think you can easily beat your opponent and just forget about the well being of yourself and the ship. Amazing video!

Amazing video buddy I was trying to get athena faction but decided to go for reapers instead since that hideout is a brand new location and not a pre existing location like the athena hideout with its extension

I said that I wouldn’t sleep on community day until I got atleast to lvl 60 from 23 and I got to 73 that day, today was the day I actually got the curse and I’m so happy!

That moniter health thing goes double for anyone on xbox one, the load times are atrocious over there and the fight WILL be over by the time you return from the ferry.
I just can't do this. All I see when I get done fighting is barely a 3rd of a level out of the 40 more levels I need. And then when I sink and lose my streak it just makes it worse. It really pisses me off because I use to think I was decent at PvP, but now with this mode, it just makes the 6 months straight I spent playing arena seem like it didn't do anything, and I really don't want to spend 6 months to get it, but this mode makes me want to not even open the game because if I play, I just think "I could be spending this time working on servants" and then I play servants and just have the worst time
Honestly you probably are decent at PVP. This mode is just totally different to arena, it plays alot different too. Also matchmaking is not great atm, so dont be surprised if you just keep goi lng up againist absolute sweats
@@RealCardmaster Yeah, very true. Arena was a lot more chaotic with 5 ships, and the area was a lot bigger

Hey bro I got a pvp tip for you all you need to do is vote captains of the dammed and pick up a storage crate and get to the level when you meet that black dog guy and continue scuttling you sure but first you have to take your supplies by using the storage crate it will give you a ton of change shot a ton of fire bombs and blunders in a lot of cannonballs and plants

Well good luck mate to get to 1000 in both of the factions I also remember change shots are very important and also I don’t know if you heard of this but you know blonder bombs right there just as important as chain shot because they can control and enemies ship if you aim of the bag the ship will face you if you aim of the front door face away from you so basically if you hit them from the back you make them go right if you hit them from the front you’ll make them go left it works i’m not kidding tested yourself go to the nearest skeleton for Park your ship close to the Canon and aim on the back and on the front with blunder bombs

Even sucking has it perks. Many times people would have so much fun spawn killing me 'owning' me their ship sinks. Sails at 3/4 drop or higher for maximum turning. Do a figure eight. Once you pass by I turn back opposite this puts your gun in range before they can. Also avoids them lunging off the back.
😂 dude was on my ladder last night, was sure I was going to abandon post to go repair, but in the time he launched him self and swam, I put three hits into the front of his ship. Nothing left to do but watch him drop off when the win title came on screen…

The real question is when are they going to fix hitrag And nerf the blonder so at Close range it does 50 damage instead of 100
You dont like that a blunder can do one shot kills? Personally I like that fact. But Im with you on the Hitreg man.
I have to think that fixing hitreg is so complicated it takes a long time to fix it. I remember it took Fortnite like a few years to dramatically improve their Hitreg and they have way more money and resources to put towards it. But hopefully one day we will see the huge improvement
If they nerf blunder to make it do 50 damage. It would become mostly useless as its main purpose (in my opinion) is protecting/ boarding a ship then at that point you will practically be limited to using a pistol and sword/eye of reach.

Losing is fine if you get a chance to improve. But most of it is getting slaughtered and no chance for people to grow easily. Need better SBMM.

Yeah Alex this is really common! Early on when I use to lose a lot of PVP fights i use to use the mindset
"Im gonna lose anyway, lets see how long i can last and how much damage i can do"
I found when I just excepted i was gonna lose i stopped getting stressed so easily.
I also found no spending a lot of money on supplies to begin with also helped a lot for me not caring if i sunk, because i can just ready straight back into another one :)

The guy is talking about mistakes in pvp and keep fighting with right side of the sloop...
I know the left side has 1 less potential hole. But Its not enough for me to really care that much about always turning or fighting to the left. But I know some players want every single advantage they can get which is understandable :)
the last mistake is what makes me hate pvp I can't have fun and it's way too stressful I can't enjoy it unless I'm winning and I don't have a teammate who has the same mentality as me who loves to improve and comeback for revenge, This is why I avoid HG since release.
