Do you come to Germany or near Germany? I would love to come to your concert! I live in Bavaria... There are excellent jazz clubs in Regensburg (Leerer Beutel) and in Passau (Cafe Museum).
budharpey Wow, you live in Germany! I currently live in Berlin. From tomorrow till Saturday I'm playing with Torsten Goods, Tobias Backhaus, and some great saxophone players at A-Trane in Berlin. You can see some other videos with them on my channel. Ich hoffe, dass ich in Zukunft in Bayern mit ihn spielen. Dann sehen wir uns. Leider habe ich keinen Kontact da, aber ich spiele oft in Berlin.
Hal Tsuchida Wow! I would even enjoy to come to Berlin but at the moment i am a little busy so it will have to wait a little. In case you should come to bavaria let me know!!! I will also watch your homepage schedule.
Thanks Laurent! I did some issues with the Mojo, and its weight was a little bit too heavy for me, so I went with the C2D and the SK2. I prefer the sound of the SK2 to the C2D. After I tweaked some stuff on the SK2, it sounded the way I like.
Little SK sounds great! Going thru some kind of Leslie? I like the way you groove your bass line, it looks like you are going for a bit of separation between notes in your bass lines. I think that is an excellent approach. Too legato and it washes out the attack too much.
+Brian Hamby Thanks! I'm using the Ventilator with it. You've noticed a great point. Having a little space between each bass note makes swing harder as you can hear this approach from Jack McDuff and Charles Earland. Indeed, playing tenuto sounds better than legato because unlike acoustic bass, organ doesn't decay, so if you play legato, it doesn't sound like real acoustic bass.

@@HalTsuchida Great! His music will live 4ever in our hearts!
Great tune! You're a wonderful player! I notice you don't use the Crumar mojo anymore. Did you have some issues with it?

Great playing Hal! ....Are you using bass pedals too?
+Nicky Farrell Thanks Nicky! Yeah, I'm using the pedals, and almost always I use pedals because it adds attacks to the left hand bass.
