I believe Mimi joined RPDR a bit early, Ru wasnt looking for comedy queens at that time, if she went on like season 5 and above she had done a lot better.
Jaw DROPPED when she said that dress is made of the original Hedwig costumes!
Jonny McGovern is a great interviewer, he gives his guests the opportunity to talk, joke and clear the air, he knows when to listen and when to joke around. I like Mimi Imfurst after seeing this interview, she's intelligent, honest, funny, and has a good spirit. Because of Hey Qween I like and have a better understanding of queens that I didn't like on Rupaul's Drag Race. Lady Red Couture is foxy and funny.
Her story is amazing. I knew some of it from other videos but didn't know it was as bad a it was. Good to see she's in a better place now. Wish more people would look past Drag Race for what it is and recognise Queens like Mimi

Funny and clever. If there's one thing we can all take out of this interview it is what we do and say online can have a massive impact on a person (we should all know that anyway) and just because a person is famous, does not mean he or she has to accept all of this crap.
Thinking a bit more before writing can make all the difference, and kindness is always a better way.
To be honest as a Drag fan - Mimi always been not improved from many fan including me for no reason but this interview is change everything - She so cool, fair, humble, sweet, understanding life and so smart!!!! She is a real artist in my opinion- its always be somewhere, some way, some how in this world that fit her...love you miss Mimi and Jonny&Hey Qween Team this is ep is so real i love it!!! So smooth 30+ min pass so fast.... love you all from Thailand:-)

You people can be so damn fickle, it's embarrassing. The amount of hate that she and other queens get is absolutely stupid. They are all human beings, a show can create, edit, and portray people to being completely different than if you'd actually sit down and get to know someone.
Mimi definitely got shit after her season, but it's great to see queens like her, Laganja, Jasmine, and Kennedy on Hey Qween to really EDUCATE idiots out here that are still giving these queens shit and harassing them.
Obviously you'd like Mimi now because you actually see her being herself and not on a "reality" show.

But at the same time, it breaks my heart to think that a lot of LGBT youth is still living this situation. If you know someone that is going through that same situation, or if it is happening to you, please approach to someone like me or others, that are willing to help you and love you and take care of you. We can look for the best option for you as there are many LGBT organizations willing to help.

I always had a feeling there was more about Mimi and that she was getting a bad rap. I felt really sorry for her during all-stars when they all judged her based on her past and how her elimination went down (which is why she got in if were being honest but that's not the point). I wanted to slap the shit out of Pandora Boxx with her stink of an attitude when she was partnered with Mimi. By the time she came to accept that she was with Mimi it was too late.
her story of being outed is horrible. that shouldn't happen to anyone. im glad she bounced back.
