We have made a big decision and have decided to cut back on our herd. We have selected 6 horses to find new homes for. This was not an easy decision to make and was not taken lightly, we love all our horses! But on a farm and homestead change is inevitable, and even though bittersweet at times it can be good!
All of these horses offered are Registered Missouri Foxtrotters.

Follow along with our family as we share our life events while living on our 168 acre homestead, farm and stables! We are all about raising and training our horses, the Missouri Foxtrotter. Our goal is to bring awareness to this breed and showcase just how wonderful they are! We also raise and train our working border collie dogs. And don’t forget the homesteads sheep and goats!!! We also go to occasional auctions and recently have gotten into regenerative farming/agriculture. We are all about learning how to improve our fields/soil.

I think you need to ask more for these horses! People get the added benefit of years of videos knowing their history & how you have cared for them.

All the horses are impressive and beautiful! Still so grateful you were able to rescue Magnolia and her momma... I used to live in the beautiful Ozark MO state and still have family there... my grandpa raised horses in Willow Springs; and at one time; had a very lg dude ranch in Oklahoma. Grew up with horses and "I" bought my own Registered 2 yo QH when I was 15.5 yrs old... so loved my Larkspur. If I lived closer, I would defintely buy the pregnant mare and let you have the foal when weaned... she's a beauty! Jewel walks out very well, that is nice in a trail horse. All sound like good horses.
Seems like very fair prices for these well looked after healthy horses. The greatest value is buying from someone you can trust who will tell you honesty everything you want to know before buying. If I had the means, I would be buying one of these now!

JR, I've got to be honest with you, I don't believe I could breed beautiful horses like this and then sell 'em. You have to have so much of yourselves in each one. Every one of them is simply gorgeous.
Now this is all coming from a guy that knows absolutely nada about horses. Your prices seem to be awfully low in my opinion, which means nothing I know.

These prices are low but the economy is hurting prices. It’s winter time. As long as good people get them there will always be more horses and these don’t fit my needs being small and me being large.

People like the QH/draft crosses large sturdy horses can carry weight and are sensible and calm
JR and family your so loving and carefully care for your big babies. I know you will be very careful where your babies go to a new home. They will be missed. I so wish I could buy anyone of them. WOW!! I can't believe your selling these beautiful, very well bred horses. But I do understand. Not many of us are millionaires, so sometimes you just have to do things that you kinda don't want to. Your asking prices are excellent. These are all top notch horses!! Your new breeding program sounds great, really looking forward to seeing what you get. I totally understand what your doing because I've been there and done it also. I bred, raised, and showed AQHA APHA horses for over 25 years, so I really do get it!! Just a helpful tip, the term “out of” is referred to as the mare. While the term “by” refers to the stallion.

Those are extremely reasonable prices i wish i had the ways & means to participate Magnolia is my favorite baby horse i pray she goes to the best home ever i will miss her ❤& all the others i love them all ❤
Wish I was 20 years younger. I would be interested in the shorter ones. I’ve never owned or ridden a Fox Trotter, but I’ve heard they’re wonderful to ride. I know QH and Appaloosa, but to find one that is less than 15 hands is almost impossible. I’m only 5’1” and 15.3 was the tallest I was happy with. But sadly, I’m not in a position in life to take on a horse. :(
This is why I could never be in a horse breeding/training business. I would be too attached to them and would not be able to part with them. I’d probably sell a kidney and half of my liver to avoid selling a horse. I hope you find the perfect buyer for each of these beauties.

Goodness! What you are asking for them all price wise is really bargain prices! After watching quite a few auction videos, your horse's are all healthy and very well cared for. You are honest and forthcoming. I was very surprised at the in my lowly opinion, very low to reasonable prices. Especially beautiful Miracle. If I were young again and had the money and means, I would be messaging you NOW for that lovely filly. I am short and petite and we would fit perfectly. Alas, in my dreams. But I hope and pray all of them get chosen and snatched up by good, experienced and loving new families.

Gorgeous horses!! They’ve been well taken care of !! We’ve always had geldings, never had owned a mare. Prices are reasonable and realistic. Will have my daughter watch ur video and see what she thinks. I know I’ve always heard good reviews about Missouri Fox Trotters!!😊I know a 14hh horse would be a good size for my grandkids!! 🤞😉

i understand fully but it's sad 😢.. ❤❤❤ it was the pretty much thesame, when i gave any rescued dogs in adoption.. but at this time, i had 16 dogs.. and way to much.. costs and vet bills was very high.. 😮❤❤❤

Only thing that slightly bothers me is that someone will buy Chablis purely for her foal and then cast her aside at auction...I hope that doesn't happen. 🐎
I will weed out bad people. Just had one person that was interested that was nice but not the right fit and I told her I passed
I personally think Miracle and Bob would have a very flashy foal. But are all fox trotters that small? I used to ride Sport horses many moons ago so to me 14 h and below is a pony. I think Oliver should be bred to a thoroubred and that would be a nice rideable foal. Oliver's temperament the Mare good bones and heart. Another flashy riding horse, but that's just me.

Hello, I noticed with your horse and you riding them there head bobs up and down is normal for the foxtrot breed? I really only have your videos for reference .i live out west and the quarter horse is king out here, I had a Arabian and Quarter horse cross and was shunned for it, but the horse pretty much ran circles around anything I worked cattle with.. Thanks and I enjoy your videos!!

Was upfront about that from the get go. What’s wrong with that. I didn’t want them being bounced around sale to szz a or trying to make a profit. I brought them home let them have the summer to just be healthy then I trained the mother to ride and gentled and trained the baby and now I’m going to find them new homes and my prices are pretty low considering operating expenses and training. What could you possibly see wrong with that?

I knew Magnolia would be going up. It took her to long to trust so no real bond was formed. I really really like her and would buy her immediately but I’m not set up yet. If she doesn’t sell right away would you consider letting someone buy her and board her there ? Just an idea ….

Well there are a lot of big Americans that want to ride. We need bigger horses that’s all
Makes me sad to say goodbye to all these "babies".... Have watched them all these months. Wish I had time and energy to start over.
There are still several more I’m going to keep and train. Including Oliver Champ, Classy, Bay lady, Legacy, Rain. Lacota, Happy, and new babies arriving this year! Now see why I’m selling some. I would not do that many justice.

Why are you selling mare heavy with foal? Im glad that horses didn't go in auction but something bad must be going on or you guys just need a money

I prefer the riding on trails training and show competitions....I love Oliver but not a fan of the carriages and whatever he pulls seems mean to me...I am sad youre changing things....seems everyone that does you tube channels get greedy for the money and forgets the animals they loved.....no a fan of this change I doubt it matters but how I feel.
Changing? This has always been us. Videos change as what is happening on our homestead changes. Right now, training is a part of Oliver’s life and journey. We promised to share his life with you so that’s what we are doing.
You could save a ton of money just by not celebrating Christmas😂

Seems like you are selling awfully cheaply. I’ve seen much higher prices at auctions.
It’s c a bad time of year to sell. And I do sell some at really high prices but when I do they BBC are finished with their training and I can stand on my word

No it’s a horse farm. I specifically say I’m many videos that we are not a rescue. I am a professional Foxtrotter trainer and raise high quality horses. That being said I have c a heart and at times one pulls at my strings and I do what I can.
Your MFTs are very pretty and refined but their small size limits their usefulness. I guess thats why you are proposing crossbreeding! Not the Clydesdale though, he is coarse, ugly and poorly conformed!
He is beautiful. Just was a ugly duckling all two year olds hundreds of lbs underweight are ugly. Not all Foxtrotters are small I’m just selling the smallest ones I have because of my size

Whoa! Do not be hating and talking smack about Sweet Oliver! Have you not watched his recent videos? That beautiful boy had a very rough start, but he’s come so very far, thanks to the Rosa family.
What a sad response to Oliver. Kindness matters. He will be fantastic when he fully matures, he just had a very poor start in life. Thank you to the Rosa family and on-line supporters.
