I'm amazed at how many flys have a wooly worm/bugger for a body. Another awesome pattern, and a great tie.

Wow what a fly. I will tie something based on this.however with less materials as it is way above my skill level to get all that on. I may just leave out the deer hair.
Ive been spending 6-12 hours a day at the vice when ive not been working. I was determined to get this box done before I have surgery to remove a gallbladder tumor. However the surgery is on tuesdsay and Ive got a long way to go yet. I have probably tied around 500-600 fles in the last 3 weeks meaning Ive done between 140 and 150 of your videos (I tie 3 of each pattern). Hopefully my recovery wont take too long and I can finish the box. Thanks for teaching me how to tie fles

      Hi Gareth,
Amazing that you have been doing this as I do spend a few hours myself at the vice but the old back needs a break from time to time..I hope all goes well and you are back at the vice again soon...
      All the very best Davie

Wow Davie I am very impressed with your immense amount of fly tying videos. I am a big fan of the simulator since I caught my first brook trout on the fly on one in Vermont last summer and my first brown on the Farmington in CT. I believe the stimulator was invented in New Jersey by a man who fished the muscenetcong river near my home. I loved the deer hair body version , is that how it's classicly tied in the uk? This Irish fly looks simply incredible, I just started tying and now need to get
More materials to tie these exotic colors. The pheasant tail legs I did not know they sold I have been trying to tie footprint duns with moose hair ala Oliver Edwards style. I would love to see your take on these flies. Do you ever tie cdc body flies like Marc petitjean ?

Davie, I cannot believe you got all of those materials including deer hair onto 2 mil. of space! That is a feat that I cannot presently do. It takes the materials of half of the fly shop just to tie it. (ok exaggerating) but that is an expensive fly! Brilliant tying as usual.
I wonder, have you ever heard of a fly called Nancy's Prayer? I have searched the internet and can't find it. Thanks for your time in answering. All the best, Sean
