Great review, this one has been on my wishlist for a while now. How is it at 4 though? Having 2 sandmen to one each of the others sounds kind of strange. I don't think it would play too well with no fairies in play.
Tom forgot to mention that at each dreaner, the roles are shuffled and dealt out again, but each time one role is left out, but nobody knows which one.
Varga Olivér - Iparbűvész that's what I am worried about really, at 4 there is 2 sandmen, 1 fairiy and 1 boogieman, so there is a chance of getting no fairies in a round, wasn't sure how that would play out.
If there are no fairies, most people always default to telling good clues as sandmen, so that counts as like 2 fairy + 1 boogieman and after there are more good guesses than wrong, the sandmen will start giving wrong clues. It really balances itself out. :)
Thank you for the review! I just wanted to figure out what you consider to be a bad clue?) clue which isn’t that obvious (e.g. cat -> mammal) or which doesn’t really match the word (e.g. cat -> green)
Maybe for cat you might say "zoo", it's related to animals, but you won't usually find a (domestic) cat in a zoo, throwing the dreamer off by making them think of other animals? Idk, that's what I thought
I'm guessing that if you get a clue and don't know then play continues to the next person giving a clue. If you still don't know then the next etc. Now let's say after clue 3 you think you know what it is. Now let's also say the 1st was a fairy, 2nd was a boogeyman and 3rd a fairy. You (the dreamer) might think that clue 1 and 3 are pointing to something obvious and that clue 2 is suspect based on what you think that obvious thing is. On that basis you may consider player 2 to be a boogeyman and in this case you would be correct. That's what I think anyway.
Cards artwork is also good to provide context for clue givers.
Ok Into my collection! look fun.

What's the point of telling the dream when the scoring is only for getting cards right or wrong?
I think there's a bonus if the dreamer, at the end of the time, can name every card they said before.
Can you play the game without 4 players?

can a person hijack a game by stalling thereby preventing people from earning points? (esp when that person is in the lead)
World Recipe of Life Each person has 5 seconds to give a clue. If they can't or wont, play passes to the next player.
Varga Olivér - Iparbűvész THANKS
Cd Ragnarok THANKS
I don't understand how the dreamer can figure out who is who without feedback.

If there is a round with no correct answers, how much points do the dreamer gets?
The gavel smash is awesome! :D
This game is awesome!
4:53 Is it weird that there is a "panties" card in a game meant for kids?
Game isn't strictly for kids and it turns out kids wear panties too.
Are you fucking serious?
Are you fucking serious?
seems like the artwork is irrelevant compared to the use of the words
Sometimes when you see a word you can't come up with something, but when you see a picture, you can see something in its context.
why do you have to narrate your dream?
My birthday is the 18th WINK WINK Jonathan this game sounds great
I think I'd like this a lot better if the artwork wasn't irrelevant.
It seems pretty well-related to the words...
