Tech talk: Cope sadly has a P2P (Peer to Peer) or a Brokering Server as a connection topology. With P2P (which is the cheapest cos there is no server) generally every client is equal and sends all the data to every other client (simplest implementations of P2P are very exploitable) and ALL of the data is saved to everyones RAM so you just need a program to read that Data and show it on screen (thats how all ESP's like Wallhacks and Radars work for the most part). Brokering Server is a step up from P2P because you need a physical server that is between clients (fundamentally works like P2P but all of the traffic goes through that server) BUT that server does not do any calculations of its own, but has a very simple logic of what to send to clients (The least costly implementation will just send all of the game correct data to the clients, so your pc won't get hacked but you still have everything saved into your memory). Blizzard's HoTS had the exact same problem when game launched. HoTS ran on the same engine as SC2 did, so the SAME cheats for SC2 worked on HoTS on the day game hit the public! (problem beeing saving all of the data to everyones memory). Sorry for long comment that does not help in any way, but I hope it at least clarifies how maphacking fundamentally works!
In last 10 years - even though it's not normal - but it became normal for there to be a certainly high number of cheaters in somewhat flagship titles. What is extra sad and pathetic, is when the game is extremely old / dead, and only hardcore fans who enjoy the details about the game are left to play it. AND STILL, there are cheating scumbags who ruin it. Seriously, what is wrong with some people.
My perspective about hackers is that I haven't noticed it as much, mainly because I only play PvE in this game as the ai on expert is good enough for me especially if its soviets. So, I haven't experienced the other team pointing out there is a hacker or something like that.
I called it in stream, glad you did watch the replay like I asked you to. That shit isn't even funny. I hate cheaters so much, but tbh its funny how bad you can be altough you are cheating :D
Welcome to the COH2 1 year after coh3 release, the game is infested by maphackers and cheaters now. So sad... I was trying to give it the benefit of the doubt, but the stuka on the first katy, thats confirmed wallhack.
Weird names with symbols or this “ii” should be taken with consideration. But it looks very apparent there is some cheating. I once witnessed a guy who played OKW on my team somehow call in Rangers and a Perishing Heavy Tank WITH his King Tiger. But I am suspecting something, what if he is playing with an AI at his control. The camera is inconsistent, doesn’t make sense, sporadic yet making commands completely looking away from the unit. I’m not sure a human player would make such a risky deep dive artillery shot. Seeing how far he goes near the frontline
Yes, if you've ever seen in Counter Strike or Tarkov how they can see outlines or shaded opponents thru the map is the same in Company of Heroes games.
It's like when your units are behind a structure or trees and you see the units all shaded in to tell you where your guys are. He sees that for everyone in the fog of war.
It’s totally imbalanced that OKW can get Stuka at tech 3. You can hold both fuel points and they still get a Stuka before any allied mediums. On maps like Red ball express it’s impossible to deal with. Becomes a point and click adventure game at a point.
Stuka is strongest rocket arty not because of damage or straight line of fire, but because of the retarded timing in tech 3. For katy its 275 fuel, while for stuka its around 160. That means, that if the map is split 50/50, and both teams control one fuel point, OKW can get stuka on average 4-5 minutes sooner than soviet rushing katy. Arguments about: "iF hE gOeS sTuKa, jUsT kIlL iT wItH mEdiUm" are very wrong and stupid. This thing is really true only in 1v1, where its very easy to dive rocket arty, as the player is on the field alone, and has no buddy to protect flanks, put mines, etc... Most teamgames maps (yes, even 2v2), are ultra laney, and the only thing what you need to do is to put stuka behind your 3 volks and 2x raketten, and allied mediums cant even touch it. Okw meta being point and click adventure is on spot! I love that comparison.
@@XIGuyIX Exactly my man. The "most reliable" counter would be AEC I assume, but the problem is that even 1 Panzerfaust causes engine crit, and chainsnaring the vehicle after that is very easy. Also don't forget, that okw bases are protected by 2cm flaks emplacements, that will rip through the light armor of allied tanks. Again, big imbalance. Diving puma into allied base is not the same like diving T70 into axis base.
that requires t1 skip, take advantage of it.. No Leig/smoke to block vision while capping = Free dps No Forward Hq/Retreat point = Not enough manpower to cover the map, somewhere will always be weak. Longer time to Tech into medium/heavy tanks. The stuka is By far the easiest Rocket arty in the game to avoid. Especially as Sov given the support weapons have a fast reposition mgs can totally avoid every shot. kaddy has 15 second less Cool down, 30 More max range (50 more when vetted (25% better than the stuka)), A far better trajectory meaning it can shoot like a shotgun at infantry units, even if you instantly retreat its unavoidable kaddy is the best rocket arty in the game bar none
@@spitcatTV they are talking about team games here and the problem of no forward reinforce, no light indirect and slow tanks can all be resolved by your teammate. They can be making mortar/leig, med truck/command bunker and rush for armor while you spam stukas and rek and stall for Kt. I do agree that Katy is better as a unit, especially with creeping barrage that is definitely too strong, but stukas are hard to deal with in team games if you signal that you are spamming it and your teammate plays accordingly.

Victory against Hacks - achievement Unlocked! But really sad to watch and even more sad that Relic won't do anything about it probably
It's decade old game
But we bought it with money.

I think the reason the camera is so fast is cause he is clicking / dragging his cam on the minimap.

Stuka smoke can use as recon. I used to remember key target position for next strike even it's in fog of war.
Maybe the first 3 strikes could be explained that way. But that does not explain how they hit the T34 perfectly with the fourth one. Or the Katy etc.
its real common in the Chineses and russian players, normaly the always have cheats
And just terrible players at the game that leave most of the time.
Core of evils.

Just a normal angle

I feel like the amount of hackers is increasing exponential. Then again I get called a hacker all the time and I'm not hacking.
You should try putting MGs on every possible building for your next vid lol.
I have played more than 2500hrs in coh2 and I've never seen cheaters.
2 weeks without skippy .... We need a new stream comrade
