Nice Vid - Just ordered one today. The manufacturer told me today that every part of the bag is made in the USA including all plastic buckles and clips. Pretty bad ass.
Thanks for the review. I have been looking at the medium version. I also like that its a not an overly publicized company and they come in non-tactical colors. A blue or gray bag with Hill People is more discreet than a 5.11 emblazed bag in FDE.
Great video man I got the original & the runners very good quality get a ton of use out of them from hunting to just going for a walk taking mine up this weekend going to do some river shorefishing public land west central WI the original is good for the pistol along with a small tackle box etc.
I've found the Maxpedition velcro holser is perfect mod to ad to the gun that attaches to the velcro instead of the trigger guard that is hard to find.
I have the smaller one. I use it to hike or bike. I did just use a chest holster but I kept getting looks. Now I can go in the store or bike the neighborhood with my gun. The down side is it gets hot.
I used to never take my gun running or hiking just bc I didn’t think I would need it and difficulty of carrying it while doing those things but I recently had a crazy guy that wouldn’t leave me and my girl alone when we went on a bike ride dude was made that we were riding in the street in a neighborhood that is always dead and doesn’t even have sidewalks in most areas so this guy thought it would be a good idea to start following us it was super weird and I didn’t want to go back home bc I didn’t want him to know where we live so I really thought I was gonna have to beat this guys ass but after he saw I was about to do that he didn’t want no part really wish I had my gun and from now on I will have my gun while doing things like that
@@lethal_engagement_solutions Thanks for the feedback. I am about to buy one of these. How do you predict the medium size would perform while running compared to the snubby? I think the difference is +1.5" across the chest and +1" up and down. I think the depth is the same.
@@lethal_engagement_solutions I got the medium. I put around 10 miles on it so far. It works well, but it is a little bulky. I actually use my whole AIWB kydex holster, and tether it to the center loop in the back with paracord and a carabiner. It works the same as a trigger shoe. I might modify it one day to have a kydex holster permanently attached. Either way it beats the heck out of carrying in the waistband while running.
I have the regular snubby pack. I use a trigger guard holster, like you mentioned, adds safety and keeps the gun from moving a little. Good review.

Awesome. I love supporting fellow Americans.
@@lethal_engagement_solutions SEEMS I RUN MINE LOWER THAN ANYONE ELSE...FEELS 10X BETTER (ON ME) LOWER
Thanks for a review from someone who actually runs!
This is exactly what I was looking for - I need something for running w my cc that’s not a belly band, shirt, pants, etc. Thank you!
This chest rig has been around for a while. But you did a great job on the review.
Thanks

Great Review!, straight to the point - much appreciated 🤙 Waiting for the one I like to be instock again!
Thank you!
Thank you very much for this video. This is an excellent solution to a good gym or running carry option. I have been looking for something like this.
Can confirm: Runner's Straps are great if you'll be doing a lot of running or bending over.

Hill people gear are the original all American made kit bags. The durability is unmatched

I love how discreet it is. This is huge for me. I can run public trails and roads with no concern that someone will know I’m carrying.
How do keep it from not hitting you in the face when you run? My girl has a big rack and she is already prone to bap attacks!
Check out my updated video on this bag.
What color is that? Ranger green? Also, is that the recon or original pack? Thank you in advance.
We’re about the same size. Does yours hurt the back of your neck or rub right on your stomach/ribs?

Nice video. Thanks for sharing.
Can you run a regular kydex holster in the back pouch, and just tie it off like you would a trigger guard holster?
I don’t think so. You would need better areas to attach the holster to. There’s only one loop in the back pocket

@@mrmcbeth I imagine it would do just fine. It seems like a matter just appearing larger and somewhat less discreet.

Is this the original kit bag, snubby version?
Yes
how did it feel while running? does move a lot?
The runners strap helps, otherwise, it will move up and down quite a bit
is the rig bouncing from running ?
It does. The runner strap fixes it
Is this really a snubby size?
Yep
Really A gun to run 😂
Yeah..?
Do criminals avoid people who are out on a run now?
Its obvious you are carrying a Gun
You just watched me put it in the bag. I hope it’s obvious to you.
It’s inconspicuous to most.
It seems they are always out of stock on the chest rigs.
You sure need a gun while running.
I’m sure that I’ll have it if I need it 🤷🏻♂️
