You should only choose one just continue doing coding for some months at least 250 problems from faraz sheet or love babbar or striver's sheet you may have increase your hopes branch doesn't matter actually if you are cse,ece or ee if you do coding consistently you will get good results

No you don't have to know much about advance Java to learn dsa in java there are few channel which I recommend like formyscholars and Kunal kushwaha which you can refer for dsa in java .
