I do like this one. I have to learn how much of it is too much. But AG curl mousse gel is pretty good too!

Just found you, and I’m so happy! You’re the first person to finally have my curl type and hair density (fine hair). I look forward to all your videos!

I haven't tried that mousse, but I think I will, since I'm all about keeping things as simple as possible. I like using mousse in the summer because of the less diffusing time. Thanks Gina.

I watch many of your videos, and your hair looks its absolute best in this one: defined but with volume, thick, and shiny. I can’t wait to try this mousse!

I think it looks great on you! I love this mousse! I’ve been using it about 2 months. So much volume and definition. Very little frizz. I have 3b thick hair.

Thank you! I love it too! I've been experimenting with it by combining it with curl creams. I think it works best on it's own :)

I'm just starting my curly hair transformation, so I want to do as much reaserch as possible so I don't end up wasting money. I've got some friends who are curly girls, and (I'm going off of their word) they said my hair would probobly curl into a 3a or 3b with proper care. My hair is 2b/2c right now, so I'm really excited to get started. I'm having to give a lot of products to my younger siblings though, because all of them have silicone, or sulfates in them. My parents are not going to be happy when I tell them I can't use the big bottle of conditioner they got. Going to a sibling! 😅

Love this mousse but been struggling with dry time. Didn't realize not using a conditioning agent when styling was an option ♥️
    Your videos are the best

I just bought this at Walmart. I needed a new Mousse because the other brand I was using I always seemed to break the nozzle off when removing the clear cap. And I tried to fix it with gorilla tape but that only worked for a short time. So I decided after I broke three of them I would never buy that brand again. So I bought this one. I never used NYM Curl Talk line before. So I am hoping it works well for my hair since I don’t really have curly hair. But every time I go get my hair cut by this one person she always tells me I have a natural wave to my hair. So I have been trying to find different ways to force my hair to become more naturally curly.

Do you think your hair would have looked better with the curl cream or leave in conditioner underneath or would it have weighed your hair down?

I just bought this whole product line to use when I run out of Deva Curl, which I don’t love and it’s way too expensive

Deva Curl is overrated in my opinion! So many great drugstore options!

Can you please share the name or company you used on Amazon to buy the same hair bonnet you use? Please. I’ve purchased so many but they are all poof, and thick, the one you showed was just perfect 👍. If you don’t mind. Or send me the link that wood be great.
I love your channel and I’ve used your methods and I got my curls back 👏. Thank you
    Maria 😊

Hello, many thanks for this helpful video. I have very fine hair that is transitioning from blonde highlights to my natural colour. This means my hair is damaged. Would mousse alone suffice for high porosity, damaged hair? I usually use a curl cream then gel for moisture but it weighs my curls down and I loose volume. Thanks.

Hi! I’m no expert but I too have fine hair that had been bleached and got quite damaged. I’ve found protein conditioners help me a lot - repair treatments and leave ins. I’d say use a leave in before mousse for sure. I seal with a lightweight gel that I dilute with water usually but that’s optional. I always scrunch out any crunch with a lightweight oil too which helps lock everything in. Bleached hair loses moisture easily so this helps.

I use the TGIN curl reconstruct line....don’t know if it’s CGM approved but it works well for me. And I’m trying out the curlsmith air dry cream for lightweight moisture. A little pricey and may be a little too moisturizing for me but good when your hair needs it!

For me the mousse makes my hair crunchy idk how to fix it or if using gel and cream with the mousse is what is messing it up. Please someone explain

Can someone help me with this. I bought this product with high hopes for my curly hair and I’ve used it 3 times. First time it looked great but then the second day it was so sticky feeling in my hair I just assumed it was from sweating and washed my hair ( reluctantly) second and third time I’ve used it same exact thing. Am I doing something wrong? I applied to damp hair could that be reason? Should my hair be soaking wet when I apply? I really wanna make this product work because it does look so good but second day once I take of my bonnet it’s sticky central 😖 any advice I would greatly appreciate! 😻

      Maybe too much mousse?

    • @tomasgarcia7499
      @tomasgarcia7499 ปีที่แล้ว

I think you’re supposed to use it when your hair is like WET. Soaking wet. If you do it when your hair is damp it’ll probably be too much.
