Lake Ngami in Botswana is drying up and hundreds cows and horses and numerous hippo are dying stranded in the mud.
Relying on an outflow from the Okavango Delta, the recent drought in Southern Africa has meant that no water has flown in for several years and it is now in its final weeks of life.
Fishermen are taking advantage of the drying up lake by catching the last of the remaining fish.
The tragedy is mind numbing in its extent of animal suffering.
Its hard to to say that this is in any way related to climate change as this lake has dried out in the past. Africa is notorious for its droughts but perhaps it is a forewarning of what is to come.

Lake Ngami has been shrinking since the explorer David Livingstone first discovered the mudhole in 1849. Allegedly it dried up completely during a drought in the 1960s, although I don't know that for sure. But most assuredly, the dying animals in the lake, with the possible exception of the hippos, are due to human greed and stupidity, not "global warming".
Once upon a time, Noah built an ark, there was a flood, and large bodies of water (such as the Great Salt Lake in Utah) trapped in landlocked basins when the waters receded have been shrinking ever since they were discovered. Just one more case.

Actually this video was brought to my attention by "Global Alert News" which I have been listening to for years.
And yes, the "droughts" in Africa in the 1960s and 1970s appear to have been created by the "military-industrial complex," using the winds of the Sahara when these programs were in their infancy.
And yes, these programs have been going on at least since the 1930s, and the "Russian Winter" that was used to defeat the crusaders from Germany who were working to defeat the forces of international communism seems to have been the result of chemical ice nucleation processes.
But all of that being said, is it true that we are experiencing "global warming" or is this yet another layer of deception by the "powers that be" to confuse and distract populations?
