Hey guys! I think I have FINALLY been able to fix my Amazon links! So sorry it’s taken a while to sort out - feel free to let me know if there are any more issues. Hope y’all enjoy the video ❤️
Always love your vids 🤩 great sales ….wanted to know how you keep track of your numbers, sales, ect….do you use a computer or pen and paper . Do you do your own taxes or have a cpa ? Thx so much 😊
As a size XS, the statement "I think it's important to cater to every size." Like I get what you are saying about not forgetting about the larger sizes, but don't leave people like me out either (hopefully this doesn't come across hatting, to which I'm not). I really love your style choices/pieces you pick up and would love to shop your closet more if my size was also included.
You are correct! I have 3 petite daughters and it has been tough over the years to shop, especially for our oldest who is 4'9"! I rarely pass up XS items for my shop/closet if they in good condition...if they don't get snagged by one of my girls first. Lol
Haha yes for sure, I find mostly XS/S because it’s most prevalent in thrift stores (in my experience) and pick most all of it up, but with cute plus size stuff it’s a bit more of a hunt which is why I specifically mentioned it ❤️
I picked up soft surroundings yesterday and would have never known that label if it wasn’t for your videos! I also agree, not everything is a label - the style is also a factor. Great videos! Ty!!
hey mcthriftzie, i am a new reseller on poshmark and watching your videos has helped me alot. All your advices are so great and i have been implementing it on my small business. i love your all of your videos :)
I'm happy your back. I knew you or someone in your family must of been sick. I'm glad your good now. Hate to say but now I'm sick. I don't do well being sick. I hate it. Which I'm sure most do. It wasn't to long. I enjoyed thanks. God Bless you and your family 🌹🌹🌹
I made my first sale on Poshmark! Someone liked it this morning so I sent out an offer and they purchased it! I listed 11 things yesterday to begin my first day of selling. I'm so excited! I love watching your videos. You are so down-to-earth and show us that this can be done! I'll be listening to your videos while I list today to keep me inspired. Thank you!
Hey There! So excited you're back! I just recently started selling and you have helped so much with what brands, key words, fabrics etc to look out for❤ I also just picked up a vintage blouse from California Gold Rush...It has these amazing wooden buttons...and high side slits. Super unique and so cute🤩
Omg! I am OBSESSED with murder podcasts too 😂 that’s all I listen to while working! Which ones do you listen to? I listen to Morbid, crime junkies and recently just found a new one I like called “generation why”, give it a listen 🤗 so happY you’re back with ship with me videos!
I believe that the slip dress was more of a reptile print and the other silk piece in the bundle was more of a camisiole than a tank top. Love your channel!
Saaaaame, either I'm watching reseller TH-cam content while working orrr its True Crime. I just started watching Sherrilyn aaaand I'm almost ashamed that I haven't found her sooner tbh lol
Did you ever play "house" as a kid? When I do my shipping, I totally "play McKenzie". Lol I have my paper from your link and I wrap everything the way you do. 😊
Have you ever had an issue with a customer where the self-sealing box came opened during shipping? I’m trying to trust that they’ll hold steady, but I still find myself reinforcing the ends with a little tape because I just don’t trust it! 😩🤣
@@Mcthriftzie Good to know, maybe I’ll face my fear and give it a non-tape test run with my shipping today! Thanks for all the videos, I think you have great style and pay attention to what you pick up! 🥰
I just sold a NWT silk tank top in size small by Eileen Fisher and it sold full price of $75. I was shocked and super surprised! I just it's just a gamble to list high but it paid off. I am picky with it though. GREAT job on all your sales!!
Mckenzie I used those envelopes fr om the post office I have had issues with them staying sealed , so I use my Dymo label on the seam after I seal them I put my mailing label over the seam long ways it my look a little funny but it saves on extra tape and so far I have had no issues with them coming unsealed .
Love hearing about diff brands. So are u just steam the clothes or wash all? I need to step up my game, I have a large death pile as I work full time , recently broke my elbow.. ugh. You are motivating me to get back in it. Looking at your organizing & need to implement some of what I see. Have not seen a video of how u photograph etc
Hi Sweetie, Amazing skills and talent in “finding those finds” that people want and would love. Enjoy watching your ship videos, listening about your ROI and seeing what people buy. Would love to know what materials you use and how you make / print your stickers with the item info on it! I just typically print on an 8X10 and cut and tape it on the package. I’m just a weekend posher with a small closet of just my own things but I do sell items and this info would be very helpful. Thanks much!
It's in your Poshmark settings. ☺️ Under "My Seller Tools" there is an option for "Shipping Label Settings" turn the packing slip option on and it will print the items sold along with the label.
Hi! I also printed like you do when I first started, on a regular printer. But when I decided I wanted to do this full time I upgraded to a thermal printer to save on time/ink/tape (I dont have to cut the labels out and tape on anymore, just peel and stick). I have the one that I purchased linked in the description of this video. The info on the back of the labels is handwritten by me to use during the video 🙂 thanks so much for your kind comment!
Embarrassed in what way? I show up with my fanny pack, XL hulken bag on wheels, and orthopedic shoes 🤣 Sometimes it feels kinda silly and embarrassing for sure but for me, once I start finding great stuff that generally just kinda fades away. Lmk if there’s anything I can do to help!
I'm not sure if it's just me, but your links aren't working to get your material suggestions. Glad you are feeling better and we are getting more videos.
Hi! I dont use it because its not self-sealing so I have to use time/materials to tape it. It's also a wider box so the shoes move around more which gives more of a chance for damage.
It’s an MLM company that scammed a lot of people out of a lot of money. There was a documentary made about it called “Lularich.” I don’t like to pick it up because I don’t want to be associated with the brand in any way for the above reason. Also 99% of the items are extremely saturated on the secondhand market so there’s no real value anymore. Lots of the people who spent a lot of money of the pieces ended up having to list them online super cheap to try and make back a fraction of their investment, which ended up tanking the overall value
Oh my goodness 😳, I didn't hear this, where can I watch to documentary? While I list items I get from people and not look up what each brand is about, it nice to know about huge scandals and why not to pick something up. That's too bad.
Are you sure you want to give away tips for shopping unbranded or outlet finds? I'm not sure outlet/bidding is available for everyone. Unbranded and assorted is.
for USA Poshmark the buyer pays for shipping which is $7.45, the price of the first bundle was $50 but the buyer probably payed around $60 because of tax and shipping! Poshmark has 20% fees (20% off $50) which means they took $10 from her earnings, $50-$10=$40 so she made $40 for that bundle but she made $33 profit because she spent $7 on the items she sold, hope that makes sense! 🙂
That big ol slab of paper is NOT needed either to wrap an item! What a waste!! Poor trees!! Ugh, gives me anxiety seeing that waste on every item! Absolutely no need for it. 😫
I have to say it, there really is no need to individually wrap each item in paper! I think the majority of people would like the least amount of unnecessary filler. Like I cringe n I KNOW others cringe too using that big ol slab of paper to wrap n item that will just go in the trash when it gets to the buyer. Poor little trees!! 😫
She probably uses the recycled paper. U have to use some form of protection for your items to keep them damage free during shipment! Recycled tissue is also an option.
@@EricaBaker2023 Doesn't matter. It's really not needed. A nice fold n pop it in the tyvek mailer n voila!! Eliminates all that tape n slab of paper. 🤷♀️ Just sayin'.
I respect your opinion but I disagree. All of the boxes/envelopes that I use are self-sealing so the paper helps to protect the item from the glue when buyer slides the item out. I ship a lot of delicate fabrics like silk and cashmere that can get damaged easily. Also if the buyer opens the envelopes with scissors it’s much better if they graze the paper with scissors vs. the item. It’s def necessary to keep leather/suede from rubbing together. It is recycled paper I use and I don’t think it “goes in the trash” when it gets to buyer. Lots of people that I ship to re-sell themselves and can reuse it in their own packaging. To each his own but my impression based on years of buyer feedback is that the typical buyer appreciates the paper.
@@Mcthriftzie I think the paper is more environmentally friendly than the clear plastic envelopes usually used. I'm torn because the plastic ones are easier for me to store in. I like your set up better.
