Excellent video. I was able to follow along and create my own Contacts Form. Sure, I hit a few snags along the way where I made some mistakes, but I was able to correct them fairly easily. The moral of the story is, don't try something as complex as this late at night. 🤣

First, THANKS for this beginners guide to UserForms. Secondly, since this is for Beginners, it would be helpful to show EXACLY what ALL default settings/options you have set up, i.e. Option Explicit in the VBA tools. I was able to manually add it to the macro, but would be nice to have our screen match what yours is as we walk thru the exercise (as beginners). Was able to "google" the answer to get it to add automatically now.

You do it slightly different than what i do lol. I use for loop to find the value and then do the replacement or data updating with the new values. The issue comes when you have after update events on some forms. Depending on the structure it gets a bit difficult because as soon as some values change, then you could get an infinite loop 😂 the other method i have used in the past is to check a certain value against the old value and then check against it and after update, it will know that youre updating values, etc.

Yes for sure, Mac's have userforms, however you cannot add ActiveX controls. You are better off using something like Parallels, which allows full windows inside of a mac here: www.excelforfreelancers.com/go/rwm-parallels-YTDesc I hope this helps and thanks so much.
I'm getting a strange error where after adding the new contact and closing the Userform (using the X), my Excel crashes. Any tips on troubleshooting this?

Hi and thanks make sure there are no special characters or spaces and also make sure it is spelled correctly. You can try putting an = in front of it however it should not make a different. Try renaming your named range. Make sure the control is a Combo box control as well I hope this helps. Sir i am not understanding that why did you take Hidden Field for contactName and Picture path like what is the work of it and what we will know by thid hidden fields.

Hi and thanks for your comment. You can try adding this code into your userform code.
Private Sub UserForm_Terminate()
Unload Me
End Sub
This will clear the form when its closed via the close x button. I hope this helps and thanks so much.

I don't understand why in my userform when I fill in the Row Source property I can't use the RangeName that has been created?
Hi and thanks make sure there are no special characters or spaces and also make sure it is spelled correctly. You can try putting an = in front of it however it should not make a different. Try renaming your named range. Make sure the control is a Combo box control as well

Sir i am not understanding that why did you take Hidden Field for contactName and Picture path like what is the work of it and what we will know by thid hidden fields.
Hi and thanks, The field is hidden since it is not needed. When you combine the folder with the picture name, you have an entire picture path, this is used to insert and display the picture. I hope this helps and thanks so much.
