They did an amazing job of using every inch of all 3 buildings. What a cool layout! Having said that, back in my days when I used to really hit the bars, if I had a room down the end of that 3rd floor hallway, I know I would've ended up sleeping in the garage. (Not proud of those years... but it is what it is.) But I'd stay here in a heartbeat!
Oh my goodness! This hotel looks like there’s WAY more to it than there is. If I ever go to St. Louis I’ll have to stay here. Amazing traction elevators and a hydraulic one with an epic motor. SO amazing.
I might just come here on a whim with my boyfriend and stay in one of the upper floors (hopefully the top floor) when I move out to live with him. Looks like a really nice hotel!
Those atriums remind me of the "Backrooms/Liminal Hotel" (AKA: _The Hoilday Inn and Crown Plaza_ hotel at Heathrow Airport Terminal 4) for some reason. I don't know why... But they do have that liminal/"Backrooms-eshic" look to them. I mean it's *LITERALLY* the North American-"Liminal Hotel." I mean just look at the insane layout of everything! (Especially that gated-off bench seating area at the bottom of one of the atriums. I mean what was the point at putting a fence around that section? It just doesn't make sense!)
STL Elevators If I ever go on a cruise ship in the future (which I hope), I would like to film a tour of every deck of the ship, because every floor might be different.
1:28 - Love that chime!
Who doesn't?
Typical S1 Chimes
This is a very unique hotel! I appreciate when hotels differ from tradition and go for an a style like this.
Me too.
