Big Mama- Pregnant Stingray

Did you know? Stingrays are viviparous, i.e. they give birth to live pups identical to the adult rays. This stingray is a large female about to deliver its young. This can be deducted from the very swollen abdomen. Each litter may contain 5-13 pups. The young are identical to the adults in all respect including the sharp poisonous barb at their tail.
