This is the first fight I’ve seen where Tawanchai’s hits were instantly blocked, mostly successfully. Sittichai clearly is a master of blocking and evasion. Reflexes like a cat. Awesome match!

Man, I was holding mitts for our muay thai coach, who was in his 40s, he kicked it like 10 times in the row, my hands were swollen for a week. These guys kick to the midsection of their bodies and take like it's nothing. Crazy level of body conditioning.
My body hurt just by watching this. These 2 guys are crazy tough guys.
Tawanchai is so composed. He’s the epitome of coolness. Even when he lost the match, his smile was genuine and calm.
Love tawanchai’s confidence in every situation. Looks like he’s always in control.

I like the way Sitthichai throwing a punch and follow through with an elbow on his left.
In onefc the thai guys rarely lose to non thai muy thai fighters. They absolutely dominate. These guys are just nasty strikers. One has done a great job of giving these guys a good platform with which to appreciate what they bring to the fight game.
At first i was very skeptical about mixing muy thai, kickboxing, and mma in the same event but it has worked out well they put on a great high level show
From what I’ve seen and I’d like to declare I’m not Thai nor do I fight I just enjoy watching and commend anyone who does fight.
Thai fighters are on another level, it’s more a lifestyle than a sport for them. Most start young and use fight winnings to survive

I love the fact that they put multiple sports in their events. One stop show plus they know not everyone is to keen on watching some one lay on their opponents for 15 mins. The Muay Thai in four oz gloves really does it for them too

I knew it was bound to happen. The talent pool seems a little shallow. He always had major flaws to his game, but his greatest strength is his ability to rebound and defense. Plus, he is a traditional boxer. Most of his opponents were not even amateur boxers.

the commentators were really biased in favor of Tawanchai it seemed like, making it seem from start to finish that he was the one making all the good moves, which seemed odd to me because the fight seemed almost totally even to me. I think this is a case of commentators watching the fighter more closely that they're more familiar with and skewing their commentary in their favor.

My reaction watching this fight is like im eating lemon 🍋
Very close fight. It did feel like Sittichai wanted it more, maybe Tawanchai is more of a counter striker or maybe he just respects Sittichai too much but either way he cut it too fine. It seems to me he has the tools to win the fight; he is bigger, seems to hit harder, and is a little faster
He hasn't gone up against someone with the same tensile strength as him. Nor have he encountered someone that could block him. He could have won, but his style wasn't appropriate for fight.
Do you try to find him excuses? He just found a more experienced opponent thats it
Neither really dominated the other, but Sitthichai showed the more complete muay Thai imo, and greatly resisted the effect of Tawanchai's powerful strikes portraying a strong and resilient fighter. But i'm talking about tiny amounts of difference at this level because they are both obviously amazing.

i feel like if muay thai incorporates some footwork for angles like Cus' peekaboo style Mike Tyson used, it will be one of the most formidable martial arts, for both offense and defense.
If you try to approach with boxing centric footwork in Muay Thai, your legs get picked apart by leg kicks. You also don't have a front leg set up for quick kicks so you're reliant on power kicks and no teep, which puts you at a range disadvantage. Maybe if you are lightning quick it could be possible, but I don't know if it's smart.
This is what l call fighting, not this hugging business.
Sittichai has more experience,more skill and stronger.

The first fight was in a tournament and Superbon was pretty green back then so i don't really hold much weigh.

When Sittichai beat Boutassa there will be like 2-3 peoples worth fighting ( excluding Superbon ).
Giorgio Petrosyan, If he even accept it and it's not that interesting since he lost to Superbon hasn't looked the same in his last fight against that Turkish fighter.
Marat Grigorian, they only fought once in a scheduled 3 rounds fight and that was on a very short notice as Yodsanklai was injured and retired afterwards.
Sittichai fighting Dzhabar Askerov, Enriko Kehl, Joney Risco, Jo Nattawut and Samy Sana under Kickboxing rules are OK fights not that interesting.
Samy Sana is 0-3 in his last 3 fights and all those losses were one sided.
Kehl got KOed in the first round and easily lost to Tayfun Ozcan.
Dzhabar Askerov is too old and inactive.
Risco hasn't fought since losing to Tayfun in late 2019 lol.
Jo Nattawut is 2-2 under Kickboxing rules and is 1-3 in his last 4 fights.
I don't care about Sittichai vs Chingiz Allazov 3 right now as Sittichai just lost to him and Chingiz should be fighting Superbon ASAP.
Same as i don't care about Sittichai vs Tayfun Ozcan 2 right now.

Both are excellent fighters. But Tawanchai keeps pulling up his shorts every few seconds. This can be a good time for his opponent to k.o.
