Cheesy as hell
@@kevinjohnson7300 it was meant to be Kevin.
😂😂😂
This scene shows just how terrifyingly capable Bats is. Not because of how violent he can be, but because he was able to keep in time with "Tequila" for the whole fight/argument/demolition after hearing it playing for only a few seconds.
The mans mind is on Babys music and the fight simultaneously.
Lot of good that did him in the passengers seat
Considering Tequila is a 2 minute song and the fight lasted 4 minutes, logic says movie magic.
It's called movie editing.
I like the little foreshadowing with the lovebirds. Darling gets shot because she stands out in the open with no cover and Buddy goes into a blind rage because of her stupid actions.
They clearly haven’t learned lol
They were in a democrat state and she thought they wouldn't shoot a woman...
@@ix-Xafra Naw they were in a republcian state, she figured the cops would be too busy trying to unlock an unlocked door for an hour.
@@Demortra ?
@@Demortra yeah those dumb cops should have shot thru the door and everyone of them should have burst in not knowing who or how many shooters were present, rifles blazing firing rounds that can go through several walls, school desks - children and then prats like you would bitch about excessive use of police force and cry about defunding.
Have you heard of friendly fire and collateral damage?
Jamie Foxx should play the villain more often. He does it so good in this.

Crazy as he is, I love Bats figuring out that this is possibly a trap.
1) The lead guard holding a flashlight like a patrol man
2) Same guard seeming to recognize him
3) Reacting to the term "smokehouse" which used to be slang for a police station
4) The APD stamps on the boxes indicating they came from an evidence lockup.
He may be psychotically insane, but he knows his business.
Pretty sure the cops were under Doc’s employee and he knew they were cops. He said they were clean firearms (the reason they’re clean was because they were from evidence). Could be wrong though
@@starcrysis23they were dirty and contacts so half the blame is on doc for not disclosing that information with the group
When you realize all this shit happend because batz has severe trust issues. Dude literally is dealing with dirty cops and the only thing that ticked it off was a damn grudge.
He had no idea they was dirty cops tho. They arrested bats in 1998 and bats noticed it was them people he was dealing with. He thought the deal was gonna be a ambush and a trick and get the crew caught and arrested.
@@zishan5067 you may not be able to trust the butcher, but you can trust doc he knew who he was dealing with, more likely to be a dirty cop than a rat
and even if he was, they'd have bigger players to worry about than a bank job where nobody was killed (or hell, maybe docs way of trapping baby in the life)
@@PJOZeus hindsight is 20/20,especially criminals aren't known to be geniuses
Moral of the story is: Bats is a complete idiot!
@@lefroste6370 I know you're not a genius. If you were you'd know it wasn't that simple. Intelligence is irrelevant to whether or not someone is a criminal.
Dude, you couldn’t even hear the music during the shootout, yet everything was still perfectly on beat. That’s fuckin awesome
Imagine showing this to a blind person.
One moment he listens to a man describe a variety of pork chops and sausages with utmost passion and next thing he knows, a shootout breaks out from nowhere.
i think its to avoid problems incase someone is recording the audio of the meeting
I have a good friend who is blind, and he loves to watch movies. Especially ones like this one, its a fun time! lol One time I watched "Don't breathe" with him, I would explain the basic plot points throughout and he would just listen and laugh.... good times

I don't think being blind means you don't know what a metaphor is
@@llamaryder1, no, but without the context of a story, and just this scene, you have no idea it’s a metaphor if you’re blind.
This movie is hella underrated, so clever, so stylish, so well shot, colors are great, immaculate editing and all the actors not only had a blast but really, truly, embodied their character, one of my all time faves!!!!...
You can tell he was a cop because of how he held the flashlight at the beginning. Thank you Law and order SVU for teaching me that
I hold my flashlights like that as well and I'm not a cop. Then again, I got my inspiration from security guards and such.
The fact that Batts kept up with the timing of the song and said tequila right as it ended shows he was a lil like baby
This scene is so weird without the music in it... I get u wanted it monetized but all the gunshots lining up with the song is the best part of the scene.
True
The music is in the clip. What are you talking about?
@@brettbaratheon9776 I think it's in his country where theyu copyrighted the music
@@fwilp5872 exactly
Sounds better without the music
Obviously Bats Buddy and Darling are irredeemable antagonists, but I just love the dynamic of these four so damn much and would gladly watch a netflix series where they all go on a road trip of wacky crime-related hijinks
I like how nearly every time Baby is driving or they are committing a crime, it's in time with the music.
Edgar Wright is the best.
You will laugh, but its one of the main goals of this Film. A Film akkording to its music. 😉😉😉

@@koseorhun don’t remember him being a musician
The older guy in the white suit, aka The Butcher, is Paul Williams, best known as a 1970s songwriter and film score composer. Eg he wrote a huge hit song for the Carpenters called "We've Only Just Begun", and won an Academy Award for Best Original song called Evergreen. Into modern times, he wrote and co-wrote two songs on Daft Punk's Random Access Memories and did vocals on one track. He wrote and starred in a 1974 musical called Phantom of the Paradise which was a modern take on the Phantom of the Opera story. Knowing Edgar Wright, there would be some clever significance to his casting.
Bats hears the song for a few seconds, and keeps perfectly in time in his head the entire time

3:38 not “ I don’t like that “ 🤣🤣🤣
In a situation like that after the firefight, how the HELL do you NOT take absolutely everything?
EXACTLY!
I think they did because when they are leaving there's about 3 big Grey duffle bags with I'm assuming all the weapons
they're into bank busting, not gun running
not only do they lack the contacts to sell that merchandise but it'd be hot and hard to flip, which brings into the question storage, and thats if there's not trackers in the boxes since they're police issue
Evidence. He said that the one guy was the cop who busted him in the past. Maybe he thinks it was a set-up. I’m surprised he took any of the guns. They could’ve had wires, tracking devices, or the serial numbers of the guns. Definitely seems more like a dirty cop situation, but in the moment definitely would have been on his mind that it could be a set-up
@@PJOZeus doc could make good use of it also the lord guns the better
I was continually mad at Doc that he didn't kill Batz as soon as they came back without the confirmation call. Doc has a strict code, you mess up the job, you don't get to walk away. Batz basically did mess up the job as well as executed a bunch of Doc's useful contacts. He should've been smoked and the post office job wait for another day. Then none of the rest of the movie would have happened
I’m guessing cause it was only an arms deal not the job and he technically succeeded it’s just that he killed his men though I’m pretty sure he let the guy who left his shotgun live and bats just killed him
That’s the dumb part of the movie for me: why the hell did baby agree with the rest of them after all of that? Doc gave him a clear out for it, and the rest of the crew were OBVIOUSLY morons who were unreliable on all fronts. Considering all the jobs both of them had done in the past, they should have known it was going to go poorly.
Outside of batz killing the contact, he also killed that guy at the convenience store and would have massacred the diner, making him a loose end with a lot of bodies/investigations bringing way more heat to the area: meanwhile baby already knew that the couple were planning on killing bats too (so there were already signs of severe infighting). Not to mention the last job with bats having killed a prior teammate and the general ineptitude of that job.
Like literally everything that had been experienced up to this point was negative and was shouting “don’t continue”. I know that’s kind of the point of the whole “job gone bad” archetype, but still. It would have made far more narrative sense if the other heist members killed Doc in that scene and decided to do the job with baby anyway: THEN it would have made narrative sense for the film to go on like it did.
Yeah but if that was the case then we wouldn’t have the final word from Baby saying “FUCK YOU BUDDY!”
i love that couple. they loved each other and help each other.
This is such a well written, directed & acted sequence.
I just realized they were using butcher cuts as a metaphor in case someone was wearing a wire they couldn’t prove they were talking about guns
No shit, you must be some kind of rocket engineer to figure that one out. -_-

The dialogue in this movie is great
that was honestly the best pork pitch I've ever heard.
A lot of people are saying that the warehouse scene is foreshadowing Darlings death but I don’t really see the connection. The reload was added to show their connection with each other and to match the beat of the song. If there were any foreshadowing in this scene, it would hint that Buddy dies protecting Darling but that didn’t happen so I doubt there was any foreshadowing.
foreshadowing that she is terrible at her job xD
the reload was also a subtle sign that darling literally has no fucking idea what she's doing with a gun or with basic common sense of "if bullets are flying at me, I should be behind the box 10 centimeters to my left"
i think the reload was a fix to jammed gun not a real reloading
I think the foreshadowing was more her standing in front of Buddy with no cover, then getting shot, and Buddy immediately protecting and firing faster (= the rage he goes into after her death)
Batz is a weird villain cus on-the-job he's actually pretty chill, upfront and polite to Baby but off-the-clock he starts being an actual passive-aggressive bully.
On or off tho he was a violent psycho and I don't blame Baby at all for smoking him
@TrapGodisKing It can't be for the most obvious reason otherwise he wouldn't mess with the kid in front of his boss
Jf nailed it
Like how Darling gets shot in the shoulder here and its just dealt with as a minor inconvenience for Buddy to swing at Bats over and never, you know, treated or revisited at all
Have we met, I DON'T KNOW YOU STILL ALIVE AIN'T YA,yeah, THEN WE NEVER MET!😂💯
for some reason, I thought this movie was supposed to be a sequel to baby's day out, hence the name. I was very surprised to find out how violent it was lol
I mean, isn't it kinda on Doc for not telling them they were dealing with corrupt cops before they went in there?

Cách hát của Phúc hiện đại, tinh tế và mang hơi hướng Kpop nhưng lại rất ấm áp, dịu dàng...1 ca khúc tuyệt vời ❤
I just thought Batz was hella paranoid but they were cops for real lol! APD - Atlanta Police Department
Yeah, but later on Doc says they were dirty cops. He paid them off
Well yeah they were but they're crooked cops. Doc already knew that the butcher and his guys were cops and they weren't trying to hide it which is why they didn't cover up the APD logos and why the butcher talks about everything like a cut of pork. Batz was right about them being cops, but they weren't exactly hiding that fact and he was wrong for shooting them. The cops are illegally selling law enforcement weapons, not setting up a sting or trying to arrest them.

It's so dumb they don't just load all that up. The gang would never need to find a guns guy again. And that's worth more than pretty much ANY bank job. Banks keep very little cash on hand. You'd have to hit an armored car loaded with cash for dozens of banks to compare to that haul on the value of that armory. They left a conservative 100k+ in weapons behind they could have loaded up. They were already cop killers, should have finished up and took everything. That's just bad writing. If they kept the whole score from the weapons deal there was no need for the next bank job. Especially considering all those trucks probably had more guns. They just had a sampler platter on display.
...or they thought that the guns had trackers on them considering they saw it was APD
Stealing police guns? 😂
