Everytime he goes back, he saves at least one of the five kids before he eventually finds his dad. The fact they exit from a different place rather than the ballpit he goes into suggests he freed their souls. Chip and Mike are sadly, likely among the deceased. A real shame because they’re probably the only two kids in his life who were nice to him. A good game. Can’t believe fnaf is ten years old! How time flies.
