Automotive electrician here - The only thing I would highly suggest is to use a plastic trim tool whenever you work on the interior of the car or especially near the windows or windscreen. I have seen cracked interior light mounts and scratched windscreens just because people were too lazy to use the right tool for the job. Screwdrivers are great tools in the engine bay but can ruin the car's interior in seconds.

Electrical engineer here - agreed. Not everyone has such a tool though, so used tools that everyone has instead.
