There's no guitarist/singer who plays better these intricately complex metal riffs than Dave Mustaine. If there is, he has surely been influenced by Mustaine's awesome guitar playing.

Listen to Exmortus man..... Their frontman has some otherworldy skill when it comes to that stuff

This is my top 5 favorite Megadeth song! Kicks so much ass and the guitar riff and Dave's solo are legendary.

Al is such an underrated guitarist. He may not be the best and certainly not as good as Friedman or Poland, but he is still really good. I love his work in Trans-Siberian Orchestra

Pitrelli was the best Replace for Marty,sad he was only on one Record
I felt the same on this subject. he and DeGrasso were filling some really big shoes on TWNAH, and just didn't get the appreciation they deserved. Dave's nerve injury sealed it though for Al getting a chance at more albums and for ending DeGrasso's run as well. After TSHF, it took a while to get back to their true roots.

Not true. I was at this concert. This song was played about 30 minutes into it. The theater was jam-packed and the temp outside was about 107 degrees. The A/C wasn't doing squat in the building. It was hot and crowded. By the time the concert was over, the band was done in. They weren't very lively at the after-party.

Al is actaully a real good player, just think he wasn't a good fit in deth.
Al kills it on this album and stepping up after Menza to me was a tall task. He was a bona fide studio drummer that Dave stretched to his limit in a good way. They both say the rigor of touring with Megadeth might have been too much but I love this album/live version of 1000 times.

Al is a hell of a player, I really liked him in Megadeth, the only bad guitarrist Megadeth had was Drover. The most influential was Friedman, the most techichal gifted was Broderick but my favorite was Pitrelli.

@@Cadillackid247 Degrasso was more of a session drummer, although he had many years of touring under this belt with suicidal tendencies and Alice Cooper etc. Before he joined megadeth.

Comparar o Metallica sem o Cliff com o Megadeth é para os modinhas. O Mustaine é disparado o melhor músico do Big Four, tecnicamente igual somente o Cliff Burton, esses 2 são fora de série. Obs: Minha banda preferida entre o Big 4 é o Slayer.
