Chris Broderick = Megadeth MVP He had the same Trujillo effect. This guy is your complete 5-tool-player: Shreds, plays every note as it is, stage presence, chemistry, and he FREAKIN' SINGS!
The solos of this song is not just fast. It really has feelings! The way Marty bends those strings just right. Its one of my favorite guitar solos of all time. Somehow Broderick couldn't bring that feeling here. The swings and bends kinda was off with the flow.. But he did nail Tornado of souls perfectly!
Could someone please explain the flawless San Diego concert? Did they rerecord all audio in the studio? I've heard Dave's voice around that time, and it seems there is no way.
they recorded it directly from the plugs, not the ambient, the ambient and visual where filming each side and then combined, is obvious by the clean sound of guitars in a concert
@metalhead326 I agree Poland was amazing but personally though Peace Sells is amazing Rust in Peace killed all other MEGADETH albums to date just because of the guitar work. as great as Poland was nothing could stop the incredible team of Dave Mustaine and Marty Friedman. The best example is Hangar 18 where the two alternate between amazingly difficult solos each one harder than the last.
Lol... he missed it, obvious with his hand gestures. He might another wanted another 2 loop. But I think it must be the last show on stage with Dave for him... Dave has no excuses.

Трухилло уж точно не "freakin sing"
Сравнивать Бродерика с чепухой из металлики это пиздец
one of the bests drum intros ever!!
saw them last year in glasgow, soon as drums started was goosbump central! lol
I love this song !!!
Dickinson, Halford, Ozzy, Lemmy, Dimebag, and Mustaine. These are the Metal Gods.
SexPestle dio?
Greatest song of all time.
great version broderick owns it
+Jason Muller but no Junior.... :(
+Mike Crowley Can't win em all I spose
I can listen to this song on repeat.😊
O melhor show da música TRUST até agora.
sim, o foda é o erro do baixista no comeco duas vezes ashuash
Broderick rocks it
he's out of the band :C
Leopoldo Flores same with shawn drover :C
You know you love a song when you have the studio version, the instrumental version, the acoustic version, and the live version on your MP3 player.
Timeless classic
the best sound
Great performance by the band. Everything was just right that night.
great song
Broderick suites so well!!
best intro for a song after 30 years of listening
he definitely has his heart in it!
Shawn is fucking incredible
rararay malifalitiko shame that him and chris left. And I don't really dig Act of Defiance unfortunately :/
yeah, JL is badass and bass line in this song is epic too
Shawn se ve tan bien en la batería!!!! Hasta su cabello rockea!!!!!
Most Valuable Player
Unique voice

But he did nail Tornado of souls perfectly!
The only thing he's missing is crazy creativity and great imagination
If you mean DAVE Ellefson, at this point no, he left the band in 2002 and re-joined the band in 2010. so now he is, but then it was James LoMenzo.
That's fucking incredible \m/
this bass player has a amaizing voice.'-'
OMG!
Juste wow
Fucking love megadeth!
MUSTAINE IS A GOD OF METAL !
Most Valuable Person, I think. Not entirely sure.
He might another wanted = He might wanted another
Shit, that was just perfect o_O
This only reminds us of how great Marty is!!!!
Ahh...my mistake..thanks
@RockMcBoulder Cheers. Lucky you! Looks like the band was on very good form.
trust hurt to much
@metalhead326 truer words have never been spoken
where is the bass voice:))
Hey, Dave has a "Hotter than Hell" shirt? cool!
@0ZAZU That's what she said!
What makes you think i'm not calm? and if you say so, to each his own
exactly what i thought..
People arguing about Metallica in a Megadeth video comment section. You people are fuckin hilarious!
I've heard it both ways
I love 'em all and believe that they are a collaborative effort and without this kind of chemistry it would just be Dave Mustaine and NOT Megadeth. ;)
Funny thing, that actually was his last recorded show ; )
hahaha, that made me laff :D
now imagine them on the same stage
Mustaine+Chris is the best combo!
Could someone please explain the flawless San Diego concert? Did they rerecord all audio in the studio? I've heard Dave's voice around that time, and it seems there is no way.
Some say it was overdubbed
it is overdubbed, the voice at least..
The only flawless megadeth concert is the Argentina one, the rest is voice is awful even in this overdubbed one.
they recorded it directly from the plugs, not the ambient, the ambient and visual where filming each side and then combined, is obvious by the clean sound of guitars in a concert
i saw them a year or two after this and dave sounded perfect.... i dont know what it was about this time period but things were just spot on.
@KGuitarH im glad you enjoyed it but i dont really like it as much anymore because on my knees isnt really a sex position
When did this concert take place?
How many times they change their main lead guitar?
Live > Studio.

Hotter than Hell (KISS) T-shirt. XD
what t-shirt Dave wear?
no,this guy is James Lomenzo
@MARS13vevo in my opinion it's Mustaine and Friedman. but Broderick is still a badass.
dio is watching you right now
BUT I WISH I COULD TRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUST
jeff who!!!
@alicwkd May 20, 2008. I was there!
@xxsladedethxx Thats not Jr. Its Lomenzo
where's the bass intro?
@CiscoMcLovin blood in the water
in dave mustaine we trust
Really? A lot of Marty's solos sound fucking eargasmic. I wander what Chris' best solo is.
Is jeff Ellefson still part of the band ??
play 2:21 over and over chris sounds epic
James Lomenzo, I think.
Pretty simple drum at the beginning... but fucking epic!
absolutely nothing we trust...
Ginger Jesus :P
Glen miller bass
Kiss t-shirt ;)
wtf is the crowd doing 1:56 ????
@mmim4 Chris is Epic only Marty was better you could argue in Poland but you'd need to be pretty convincing
It's a Congo Line, duh
lol, very different from our argentinean crowd
@metallicamberstein god i really hate that joke its not even funny i dont know why i even made it.
@0ZAZU what?
I'm a grown ass man. If you we're planning on trying to use my age to insult me please don't. When people try to do that it's so lame and fallacious.
dancing CONGA :D
No, Broderick is perfect in everything except being able to write a fucking amazing creative/memorable solo. :P
volume up your basses lol why any bassist have his volume too low i can t hear the epicness
Lol... he missed it, obvious with his hand gestures. He might another wanted another 2 loop. But I think it must be the last show on stage with Dave for him... Dave has no excuses.
fucking strange if that isn't dave on bass not megadeath
Dave didn't wanted to mlay for some money shit. Megadeth. not megadeath

Is that Ellefson on bass? Doesn't look like him .
it's james lemonenzo
Chris could sing more :D
or is that him under all that hair
you know man neither do I. I was just in an immature mood I guess that joke hardly makes sense. on my knees isnt a real sex position
