For those wondering The reason why the Tapu Guardians weren't able to land a killing blow is because the move is designed to get rid of 75% of the enemys current health, making it similar to false swipe.
I'd say it's more similar to Super Fang; they both always do a certain percentage of damage. I believe there is also another fairy type move that does the same thing if not similar to Super Fang. Hope you're still here after 6 years lol
I personally love Mew's Z move. I dunno if it's the name, the visuals or the fact that Mew finally got his own exclusive move. Also, I really need Eevee's Z move with the voice actress. And this last one probably won't happen, but I hope Mew gets a voice too!

Eevee: Eevee doesn’t attack sooooo there’s that... Snorlax: ded - Not much to say...
