i actually love the inclusion of the turning on of the lights, entering and the whole process and every human step, i don't get why that is a problem i read in the comments 😅
@@aggelostzinis704 a (mostly) dry chain should be fine, as long as you don't ride like a maniac and long distances. Lube on a hot chain, is like putting chocolate syrup over a hot cake. When it gets to room temperature, is when you can eat without making a mess.
Great video! 👍🏻 You shouldn't pressure wash your chain tho. High pressure water penetrates the rings in the chain and causes corrosion inside the links.
Either that happened, or his chain was not lubricated well enough before the wash. You could see some links not following the slightly parabolic line the chain should have.
As commented by someone else this could've been caused by the pressure washer pushing water past the o/x/whatever rings followed by corrosion. Other cause could be lack of lubricant.
@@borisb5163 true even the wheel bearing can get water in them by pressure washing, never used pressure washer on my bike, if i had to it would be from safe distance.
Easier way to wind the hose : use two reels side by side and make a figure of 8 instead of just a roll. It will be much easy to unwind (won't curl ). Next don't connect power plug with extension cord on the ground (possibly wet).
Hello, may I ask a question? On my motorcycle, there are old oil stains on the rim of the wheel, on the rear swingarm, and on the frame, from either the chain oil or drops from the chain. What would be the best way to remove them completely? I always do a pre-wash, then wash with car shampoo and a sponge, and dry it off, but these oil drops always remain. Thank you.
Awesome video now I know how to clean a bike. I just need to know where you got the products. By the way how did you get the lights on the bike to switch on at end ? Lol absolute genius 😂🥺
I Love the RN43 , i own a SP ! But your chain is finished ... u can see it, when your chain stops at Min. 3:41 ... and please also dry the hole bike with air pressure, not only the chain.
I was about to get my R6 washed and you just uploaded this, now is too cold to give her a wash, I'll do it tomorrow and I'll watch your video instead. Cheers mate!
I was wondering if you also ever polish your bike to prevent rust and if not do you do anything for rust prevention? I spend hours polishing all the metal parts and the frame especially where chips occur. Im wondering if Im actually just wasting my time?😅
Is it real ASMR? As in: recorded with a binaural microphone? Because it doesn't seem to be. If so, it's very low quality because the sound direction is an ambiguous "somewhere front" the whole time. The video itself, though, *very cool*.
1) Bike soap. 2) Sponge (soft). 3) Chain lube. 4) Chain cleaner. 5) Microfiber cloth. - Bucket with soap water, to wash the bike. - Bucket with clean water, to clean the sponge. - Chain brush. You can also spray the chain cleaner and then splash it with water. The brush is optional.
Just washed my bike 2 days ago, seems i need to wash it tomorrow. Quick question, that bottle you hooked up with the pressure washers that foams the bike, where did you get it? (South African)
Nice video. Two things I noticed: 1. Kärcher pressure washers should be laying on the back when turned on, standing up while active can damage the machine (as the manual says). 2. Why didn’t you lubricate the chain after washing the bike? Seems like an important step in the process to me
Hey there I used to watch all ur vids but been busy and getting back into them I remeber u moved to the UK and I noticed the 3 point plug was South African I was just wondering why u moved back I'm planning to move to London sometime next year myself so I was just curious on what it was that made you return? Also wondering if you are still in Joburg or maybe relocated somewhere else. Love the mt09 BTW however I do miss the r6 and r1 it's my dream bikes, I miss my bike I havnt ridden bikes in over 6 months had an accident and now my bikes just been sitting around 🥺
Damn, this makes me feel guilty sitting all day. makes me want to wash my bike too.
What bikw do you have?

Nice video !
min 7:11, my hearth dropped when the bike moved that way
Relaxing to watch after a week of officework.
Motivating to get to cleaning on saturday!
no voice video... but amazingly its fun to watch. genius! It's fun to watch when i see riders taking care of their bikes.❤️❤️💪🤘
You got me nervous! You were loading the bike back into the garage and im like, WAIT!!! LUBE THE CHAIN!!! 😂
Same..
That chain is not in good health, I saw it when he removed the old grease there are some hards spots
Making sure that I drop a comment to show Interaction lol, need more of these. Back to the shadows I go 😅
I'll be there with you🤣

That’s one hell of an art! Relaxing to the core!
What I do before chain lube is go for a quick ride and lube it afterwards when the engine is hot.
I don’t know if it’s a good idea to ride without lubricating the chain also I’m not sure if chain temperature matters when lubricating it
@@aggelostzinis704 a (mostly) dry chain should be fine, as long as you don't ride like a maniac and long distances.

well done, oddly satisfying to watch without narration.
Those lights look so effective
the bike already so clean to begin with haha

Either that happened, or his chain was not lubricated well enough before the wash. You could see some links not following the slightly parabolic line the chain should have.
And linkage grease. Any bike (unless it's an off roader) rarely gets dirty enough to warrant pressure washing. This MT 09 definitely wasn't.
I wish by bike would stay this clean. Living in English countryside, I spend 5mins on the road and my blue bike becomes brown.
You should try drying it with a leaf blower, you don't get any standing water.
It's almost like you know what video I'm making this week... spooky 👀
Such a nice bike the MT09 is
hi what products are you using specifically for the brake disc and the rims? thanks!
Do you already know it?
The final pat 🥹❤️
I will laugh my ass off is this video does well and you have to become an ASMR channel 😜
I just decided I'm too lazy to wash my bike with work in a few hours and open youtube for this to be first thing
Fun video turned horror movie...was wonderin if somtin wud hapun. Great job man
Just got me self a 2018 09 today baby!!
Loved the video, especially at the end lol.
your chain appears to have kinks (check 3:41)
noticed that too
Yes this chain has done. Cleaning not needed anymore. ^^

I love cleaning my blue MT09
This video made me understand that I need to buy a pressure washer 😂
Absolutely amazing!😻
Nice video bro, which product did you use?
Amazing!i almost fell asleep
Quick question. The way you lube your bike, Doesn't the lube sprays on the floor?
Last part was epic 👀
Amazing amazing content man🔥

Hi, why not to ride 5-10 minutes for let the chain warm up and after oil it?
Do you have a video of how to install the bar end mirrors? Been looking everywhere I bought a set but can’t install them.
Just washed mine last night then this popped up 😂

Your 'dirty' bike is cleaner than mine when it's 'clean'.
What was that thing you sprayed on your disc brakes and exhaust ?
I love washing my Bike❤😍🥳
Maybe a bit late, but can you or do you have/make a list with all the stuff one needs for good cleaning?
1) Bike soap.
2) Sponge (soft).
3) Chain lube.
4) Chain cleaner.
5) Microfiber cloth.
- Bucket with soap water, to wash the bike.
- Bucket with clean water, to clean the sponge.
- Chain brush.
You can also spray the chain cleaner and then splash it with water. The brush is optional.
That bike was already clean af by indian standards
Yap, gotta wash my bike too!
Been riding for 10 years daily, I’ve never washed a bike. Figure if I got time to wash it, I got time to ride it instead.
Indeed relaxing 🙏
Great video! Great idea!! 👍🏾
Thank you sir
WOOOOOOOOOOOW AWESOME AMAZING FANTASTIC
Mt 09 my favorite naked motorcycle ever
love the other bike in garage.... :PP
Satisfaction.....
Great vidéo !
So u won't polish the mt09 ????
Those headlights looked sad when you turned off the lights and left. Poor bike.
The amount of planning in the shots is very impressive. If you did it all alone, bravo. Did you prepare a storyboard? 🫡
Just washed my bike 2 days ago, seems i need to wash it tomorrow. Quick question, that bottle you hooked up with the pressure washers that foams the bike, where did you get it? (South African)
it's called a foam cannon
Tell me one thing
Why you dont wash your motorcycle first, before oil your chain ?
Looked like the bike was going to fall over 😅
what did you spray on the brakes?
Amazing video bro
Never use a jet wash on a motorcycle dude, waaaay too powerful, blasts into electrics, strips linkages and chains of lube. A hose and shampoo is ample
omg i want to wash my bike now
Very cinematic

Just curious why everyone is into pressure washing these days? What happened to the good old days of hose wash?
that's enough...am cleaning my bike now
what is sthe spray used for disc and pipe?

theyre called paddock stands
Would love to know what product you prefer to use to wash your bikes.
can someone list out the products used

Don’t pressure wash the chain . O-ring Seals will loose lubricant
Which kacher series is that ?
Is there a Halloween Special coming?
For all you people who just watched this while your bike sits filthy in your shed... Yeah me to
what bike is that
Honestly... thats a little to clean for my liking 😭😂

That jet was a but too powerful. Better use a lower power setting or a wider jet angle
I'm happier now.
Just missing some anti rust coating , other than that gr8 job
