Hi is the beauty dish used to pop light on the white background
I believe in this instance the strobe with the beauty dish was turned off, as I was using it for another model I had on set that day.
She's really pretty.

@@KayleighJune is here a reason for the 100mm over the 85mm
The 100mm is a macro lens, so it allows me to get a closer shot 🙂

Why only the inner layer of diffusion in the softbox, how dose it effect the light?
It keeps the overall lighting slightly muted and brings out the highlights on the skin a bit more, but not as much as a beauty dish would 🙂
the model looks a lot different in the photos, might be the beauty of the camera
