Your new Jukeboxes will love the Suburban. I love Jukeboxes especially the one at our Susie-Q poolhall in the 60's-70's. Yes I got a stack of oldie 45s when the owner brought in the latest hits.. ."Hold on, I'm Comin!" by Sam and Dave is one of em.
@@MikeFrankovich Mike, tx for the heads up ! You got tons of great videos besides cars. Yes you have thousands of 45's. Do you catalogue them/ sell them? I too collect many 78's. My earliest is 1906. Back in the 60's, 70's and 80's I went to Chicago searching vintage music. That is when I discovered Delmark Records/ Bob Koester. Wow he had mint unplayed 78's from late 30's and 40's with the rainbow gloss on the grooves. I played them once to record them and now I listen to Big Joe Williams as I cruise around in my 1981 Black Biarritz. Doesn't get better.
I would personally keep it. While the 7.4 likes to drink, it is a durable engine and a few modern upgrades, you can squeak better mileage out of it. Interior is great, exterior looks amazing. Id keep it. With the kind of vehicles we have today, these suburbans stand the test of time being in the condition yours is in. Built well and durable. Best of luck with it!! 🙏
Hi Mike, congrats on the "new" car! I'm long overdue in commenting how much I enjoy your channel and all the videos. Something I've been hoping to see is a video on the Studebaker. Hope its coming along well, and thanks for the hours of entertainment you provide!
I have some video shot on the Studebaker, but it's not on the road yet. I did drive it around the parking lot at my friend Chuck's place. The brakes are still sketchy and there's some wiring to be done. Need to get back out to Palm Springs to work on it.
Hey how's it going I have a question for you I have a 1986 Chevy suburban with the 454 big block two-wheel drive 3/4 ton with only 39,000 original miles it has almost every option from the factory including the barn doors in the back it doesn't have the lift door and I know that's a very rare option and it also came with the protective undercoating from the factory there is not a spot of rust on this truck and it runs absolutely flawless I'm curious as to if off the top of your head if you can give me a ballpark estimate of what it's worth cuz I am looking to sell it

it's a tank and parts availability is excellent.
@@MikeFrankovich yup cant expect great mpg when its heavy and big block. If it were me, I would keep it, just sayin
@@johncornell3665 It’s too good to let go of.

Hi Mike, that looks like a pretty cool old beast. If you don't mind the odd repair and a bit of tinkering, go for it and enjoy. thanks for sharing.
Thanks, will do!
Nice rig bought and sold many of them you can always find a reason to keep and a reason to sell one of these
Very true!
That's a good buy Mike! Very nice suburban👍
Those Alpines were the best back in the day. Looks like a great score
That was the stereo to have. It still works. Haven't tried the cassette yet though.
keep it as it is well maintained & hard to come by!
They’re not usually this clean
Hell yeah brother KEEP KEEP KEEP KEEP.
I would personally keep it.

Mike, of course it's your decision what you do with your vehicles. With a bit of work that would be a good daily hauler.
Its very close to being a great driver.
Nice ride
Thanks
Nice video and nice car. thank you
Thank you too!
Nice 86 Suburban. I'd keep it, Mike. Make a nice hauler, especially w/454. I had 85 Full size Jimmy. Now I have a 05 Yukon.
They're awesome trucks. Had a '73 Chevy Suburban 454 for a short period of time many years ago.
Coral Gables 🌴🇺🇸 Hehe. NICE 👌 We have a classic 1988 GMC one ton 454 duelly. Love it. 🏄
They're great trucks!
I had an 86, just loved it. trade it for a 91.
my all time best was a 2005
People who have these tend to stick to them. I remember that when I worked at Thorson Buick/GMC
Looks like the new shop vehicle
So many uses for this one
Nice truck sir
Thanks 👍
My family has had a sububan since 1974. Now my dad has a 2004 Escalade.

That's what I'm doing
She’s a bute Clark 👍🇺🇸
Going on the Holiday Road
Slap some wood-grain over that gray, and stick a surf-board in the back. :)
Could be a surf wagon

Mileage 189k?..😮..nice body🤓
It doesn’t look like 189K
if you dont keep it, dont part it out, its too nice
I'm keeping it
You got to wash it and get some details
Keep it Mike, sell that gawd awful Gremlin or what ever you've been driving lately.
Cool score. Looks like you have a utility vehicle.
Vote Trump and get gas prices back where they belong! 👍😎
