Top notch as always. Forest photography I find maddeningly tough, as you know, but great advice on lenses. Before you asked at the end, I was going to comment on the comp at 10 mins, the S bend in the road, once the full colour is there, I think it'll be beautiful. The showcase of shots in the finale will have your customer spoilt for choice. The one with the central tree with backlit leaves is pretty special. Great work Dan.
Thanks so much Rhonda ! I find it very tough too but it’s a really good challenge to set yourself to help improve ! As always thanks so much for watching and the support !
Great Video Daniel, Very Interesting Intro, the transition for drone shots to video, fantastic! wonderful task, thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching Tony, I really appreciate it
Great job again Daniel. Now obviously, I am an odd ball. I hate fog in the woods, love the hotspots in the sky and much prefer a sunny day to a drab day when shooting Autumn colours. And so with the light your video and shots looked great. Great shots and vlog. Well done, F.
Thanks so much Ferg, it’s a funny thing as I chase light with everything with the exception of forests, and it’s so hard to stop doing it ! As always really appreciate you watching ! Hope you’re well my friend
@@DanielWretham All good. Keep chasing the light and keep them coming. Regards, F
Well I loved the first two then got to the end then saw another one I loved this was had as they were all beautiful. I am coming to the UK in two weeks time I hope I can get some Autumn colours in the Lake District fingers crossed 😀
Thanks so much for watching Angela, really pleased you enjoyed ! And good luck with your trip, the Lake District is stunning this time of year
Another great video Daniel, I would be happy with any of the photos as I'm sure your client is .Everything seems to have been blown off the trees! Hopefully more settled weather is on the way.
Thanks so much Dane, the weather seems to have got worse ! The wind has been really bad and rain seems to be relentless too ! Autumn has once again left us without starting !
Good luck with the commission I loved the No.5 image , the colour and contrast , and the one at about 15:15 because of the trees lining the avenue.
Thanks so much Stephen, managed to get the shots I wanted a couple of days later as it happened ! Thanks so much for watching !
I'm 200 miles north and our leaves are gone already, awful weather. The colour herecwas bright but brief. My favourite at the end was number 5, real wow moment for me but they are all gorgeous. Good luck with the commission!
Thanks so much ! Yes I’ve seen pictures from further up the country and it looks amazing ! You deffo got it before here !
Great viewing as always mate, got a couple of weeks off now, so hopefully have a trip over the border at some point!
Thanks so much mate, hopefully it will be peaking around now as long as the wind doesn’t get to it first ! Hope you get some crackers !
@@DanielWretham I’m tempted to have a look today as the wind is relatively light at the moment by comparisons to the last week or so…
@@neilharrison227 well worth a look mate, it will be fairly busy though I reckon ? Maybe use today to scope it out and next week to shoot it ?
Sorry for the late comment Daniel, been busy preparing for the new hurricane headed our way. Love that massive tree at the 5:00 mark, beautiful specimen. I'm surprised at the amount of green you still have but some nice colors mixed in here and there. Makes sense being so far south though and the warmer temps and lower elevation. Congratulations on the commission, I know you'll deliver amazing results for your client. Great tip about using a telephoto lens for forest photography. All stunning road shots, but I think my personal fav was 14:37... beautiful colors, light, anchored on the left by a beautiful, massive tree, and a bit of mystery where that road is leading. Stunning! Sorry for the novel. Hope you are doing well, have a wonderful week over there!
No apology ever needed paul, I’m always super grateful anytime you watch and for the constant support and I love the detailed feedback ! Really hope you won’t be hit too hard by the hurricane mate and that it passes you by quickly. It’s been super windy here too, nothing on the level you will get but shocking all the same. Hoping you stay safe and our thoughts are with you and the family at this time, please keep us all informed ! Stay safe
Feel your pain on the autumn colours, we always seem to get storms roll through and strip the trees before they change. Good luck with the commission, some great options you’ve found.
Thanks so much Chris, it seems it’s been this way for the past few years, just about to be ready then a storm rolls in and blows it to bits :/ since the video was filmed I’ve fortunately managed to get the images and the client is super happy so it all ended well !
Great video Daniel. I’m sure your client was over the moon with whatever you produced for her. Can I ask what part of the New Forest you were in for this video? Stunning scenery
Thanks so much Steve, really appreciate you watching ! the area is bolderwood
Great stuff Daniel, it’s funny i was shooting in half term week in almost exact the same areas 👍
No way ! What day did you go down ? It was pretty busy wasnt it ! Deffo picked the wrong time to go lol 😂 thanks for watching Rob !
Yes I cannot remember but which day as I have been down. Nearly every day , scouting and now clocked up ove 30 miles but enjoyed going out and I also stood in the river as you did , maybe it was on the Thursday
@@sotonrob lol I was there Thursday and Friday ! Small world !!!
