      IDK but Isaiah Thomas should start a league for lil' brothas called the SBA, smaller basketball association for the vertically impaired, no guys over 6 feet, he should give back to the lil' brothas since he knows how it feels to be belittled.

      tonton heredero spending has absolutely nothing to do with what he said.
      50k a year over the coarse of 20 years is $1 million.
      1,000,000/20=50,000

      That's so stupid, Kyrie isn't the reason why Isaiah is shooting terrible, Kyrie isn't the reason why Isaiah is short and can't play defense, Kyrie isn't the reason why Isaiah is a cancer in the locker room.

      @@BallKnower I don't believe he was stating that Kyrie was the actual reason for IT's downfall. He's just pointing out the impetus for how he ended up in Cleveland. It's even more interesting now that he's an afterthought and possibly out of the NBA. - - However it happened, it's a significant rise and fall story.

      @0akSkee 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In my view, I'd say the "Max" Isaiah should be getting is between $10-$15 million a year at most. Definitely not worth $20 million or above realistically speaking based on his height liability on defense and having to only rely on offense depending on if he's in a good coaching system or not.

    All this talk about being 5'9 my brother is 5'4 and met I.T. He's more like 5'7 5'8 on a good day. But it don't matter. Mugsy was 5'3 and his strength was defense. Defense is all about effort. It does not matter the size. There is a reason draymond can guard way bigger players. It's heart and determination.

I mean sure he's the worst defender in the league by far, insists on starting though he'd be the perfect 6th man, is egotistical, selfish, only playing for a contract, blames teammates and coaches when he's the worst on the team, is a locker room cancer, hogs the ball, and now he can't even play iso offense anymore because he's damaged goods. They said that you cant be 5'9 and slow since IT lost a big part of his explosiveness due to his hip injury. And that is true. Look at Nate Robinson for example. Better athleticism and explosiveness but at most times a sixth man. But he lived with that and did a tremendous job. IT needs to understand his current situation. Nobody will give him a max but if he plays good and shows good leadership he can get a contract worth 10-20 million a year.

      The problem is his attitude. Sure he is not 100% healthy. But why act like he's the one carrying this team? Why always pointing finger, calling on teammates, always being a loud mouth full of himself? I don't feel sorry for him. He is now a journeyman officially. Try China or Lithuania or somewhere else. But even those might think twice signing a damaged goods like IT who also now a locker room distraction.

    Man the media really pulled a 180 on thomas. Did broussard really just say he's not even a boderline all star. He's obviously having a bad season with a lot of it having to do with injury, but people are acting like he's been playing this way for like a whole season. He only played like 20 games! I really hope he can get back to form because everyone in the media is making it sound like anyone can average 28.9 ppg on the right team.

      The reason they're blaming IT is because Lebron is the face of the league and until he retires, everything will always be tailored to make him look good and his teammates look bad. Which is the reason Kyrie left. I like Lebrons game, but the media makes too many excuses for him.

    • @busterandrews

      Anonymous Anonymously You're right about that. But people are acting like he singlehandedly brought down the Cavs. They were falling apart way before that. Oswaldo LN 8 mill is definitely a big pay day in our eyes, but it's the NBA. The owners make billions of dollars in 1 season, 8 million is chump change for them. Also, after paying your agents, marketing team, etc... You only have probably like 6 or 5 mill left. Also, players lifestyle call for more money spent a year. From security, plane tickets, housing and transportation. 8 million is a lot of money, but when you are a star like I.T. or some of the other well known players. You can't live cheap. It sucks, but that how it goes for them. People look up to them like they are Gods and others are jealous.

    THERE IS NO BIGGER LeBRON fan that yours truly. Not Nick Wright. Not Shannon. NO ONE. With that being said, IT gave his body, mind, heart & soul for the Celtics. The man is INJURED!!! He's not 100%!!! Shannon, I never thought I'd say this about you, because you are largely ENTERTAINING, but I'm losing RESPECT for your insensitivity bro. These guys are HUMAN BEINGS trying to feed their families. Chill bro. Laughing at the expense of a person's CAREER is neither funny, cool, nor professional. Say what you want about his attitude, but give IT credit for trying to salvage his career and by coming back at less than 100%. I hope someone points this comment out to you and that you read it. You are GREAT at your second career, but try to keep in mind that IT has two little boys watching everything you (and other "So-Called" PROFESSIONAL SPORTS ANALYSTS) say about their dad; who's only performing at a small percentage of his ability and keeping it 100 on what he sees from within the locker room. INJURIES ARE REAL AND SOMETIMES CAREER ENDING. GIVE the respect he or anyone fighting for their lives - DESERVE!

    It's hard to downplay the seriousness of his hip injury. He may never be the same--I don't completely attribute his success simply to Boston's system. Also, it's not uncommon for athletes to be unaware when they've lost a step. We see it all the time when great players get close to retirement. I wish him well, but now is not the time for pride. FWIW, IT needs to humble himself and hope he gets his game back. Skip said it, Bo Jackson was a shadow of himself after his hip injury and it's possible IT will never be anywhere near as productive as was earlier in his career.

      BMode32 whether lebron commits or not each player needs to go out there and do their job... who wants to play with players only working hard based on incentives... look at Tristan...they gave him 40M & he got a ring... now he doesn't even care anymore lebron needs players that want to win...
