I know about Ryouma thanks to Hakuoki, the otome franchise about the Shinsengumi. There's a Ryouma romance route and you can bet your ass he was extremely flirty and cute. Love him
I would like to see a video covering both Sei Shonagon and Murasaki Shikibu at some point. Sei is my favorite servant in the game and since her and Murasaki were alive around the same time on top of having written about each other at one point or another (unless it was just Murasaki that talked about Sei and not both talking about each other), it would be pretty interesting imo
It's pretty interesting how ryoma path to being something greater was through swordfighting but he ended up being more known for diplomacy and more logistic oriented things(his skills mostly serving to protect himself And as interesting to have people like Izo, who if you think about it sounds strange how he is so famous considering his work.

I don't think Ama no Sadahoku is the the spare of Izannagi and Izannami used to create the Shinto myth.
Just double checked to make sure, and it is. The name itself means something along the lines of "Upturned Sky Spear."
Just did. Erice's spare is called Ame no Sadahoku while Ryouma's is called Ama No Sadahoku. The two spares must be related somehow.
