Former lunch lady here. We had a menu of what we had to make everyday but we also had left overs from the day before and pizza, chicken patties, and burgers were an option everyday. I also worked at a school that tried to be fancy and we had a sub/wrap/salad bar where we made the students whatever they wanted. Sodas and desserts costed extra and once in awhile corporate sent a food truck in.
