Aye lethal man I love the art of shooting because of the variety there is, there is so much with your arms, hands, legs, feet, eyes, etc. and you know all about what to do with those mechanics to become lethal
Hey Lethal, Have you talked about the dip yet? I hope you know what I mean haha. I just want to make sure my knowledge of the dip is consistent with how a professional shooting coach would explain it to his players.
I love basketball because it made me a better person that works for things instead of getting them and even when i fail its tought me to keep pushing🔐🔐🏀
Its Ovex He probably won't because, I'm not 100% sure but I think he flicks with his left thumb,he's mastered it and is lethal with it, but it's a really bad habit, and he doesn't want to teach shooters that habit, it becomes an ingrained habit, how do I know?Because I do the same thing
@@jazz879 Thumb flicking isn't necessarily bad for people who are great shooters and still thumb flick because it just works for them. But when trying to teach a new player shooting mechanics you want to stray from thumb flicking as it can mess with their shot unless of course it works for them. A good coach hopefully recognizes what the student is comfortable with and doesn't force them to follow traditional paths.(Not saying your like this your comment is fine I'm just talking)
great vid! my only issue is we dont need to see all the shots u make. id rather see close ups and different angles that focus on demonstrating ur explaination, for example i loved the slow motion and clip starting at 3:45. other than this im really enjoying the series. can u make an episode on pull up jumpshots? keep up the hard work!
I really appreacite this lethal. I made the mistake of catching the ball with my hand under it. Now I catch it with my hand behind it, not under and it feels a lot more natrual.
Without question a world class shooter. One major problem he has is dipping the ball. If you catch, and bring the ball down below your hip before your upward motion, a closeout defender is now a major problem. That would get snuffed out at the pro level
Hey Lethal, Whenever I shoot from behind the arc my form is fine and I'm shooting an all right percentage. When I shoot off balance within the arc, I'm still shooting fine. (Fadeaways and step-backs) Even my pull up midrange is fine. But my set shot within the arc is always too strong. Do you know why this is and how I can fix. Thanks, A Varsity Bench Warmer Grinding for that starting spot
Sreezy I'm a freshman on jv so i may not be fully grown but i see your problem. I'd recommend attempting to put more arc with a softer touch. Of course with more repetitions the better you will become. Stay locked in and really believe you'll make every shot and remember that soft touch when you're closer. Another option is starting to bank in shots such as Derrick Rose and Wade do. Power could be useful there as that is how I shoot closer to the rim. Hope this helps
Sreezy Uo rose nice advice brother. ..Listen I miss too short when I aim straight at the rim and when I try to bank it in I usually hit the rim instead of the backboard. ..how can I fix this and put more power into my shot from the 3 pointer cause from midrange my jumper is great
Great Stuff, camera should be at the side angle or in front so the younger kids can actually see you catching and turning the ball into proper position before shooting it. Great stuff!!!
Keep these videos coming!! Do your thing lethal, it's all great tips & advice. You mention a lot how a great shooter always stays consistent. Can you give a few tips on how to always stay consistent with both footwork and form (even with pressure or good defense)
Great video @lethal shooter. When catching a pass from left side is footwork important to go l-r into shot and from right side r-l or should a player bractice both footwork no matter where pass is coming from? On pull ups how important is elevation? Can you go over turnaround and fadeaway jumpers please? Thank you sir and keep up great work for us weekend warriors
The only way someone can shoot like you do (excellent) is by putting in a lot of work, with the right fundamentals. Good stuff. You must have played college ball, where?
Hey lethal. I'm having problems with my shooting power. Allot of the times when i shoot. The ball hits the rim or backboard. I want to have more controll of my power that i put behind the ball. Thank you Lethal :)
it is not bad shooting form but if that was a young player I would try to improve two areas. a) Don't lower the ball after you caught it to create momentum. Momentum should come from your legs extending into the torso and arms while you are shooting. Get low before catching the ball not after you caught it b) Don't stop the momentum of your shot. Shoot in one continous motion, not in two.
Aye man when I shoot the ball my mid range shot has a high ark but at the three point line it has a low ark, I feel like that's why my 3 point percentage is so low
"Don't put your hand under the ball, it messes up your mechanics. here's an example"
*makes all of them*
PJ Tisch 😂 ikr
@Car'del Douglas what's the point of the N word?
4:00 shows you
Lol he did make every shot
Deadass 😂😂😂😂
Lethal so good that Kevin Durant is grabbing the rebounds for him
Steve Feng Lol he was actually KD's teammate in HS
Wow can't believe I missed that
@@IanPrinceGarvilles same
That’s not kd
That's not kevin durant and on the right its not stephen curry
Lethal: I turn the ball before shooting Also lethal: doesn’t show his hands in the example
Lmao
Lol 😂
😂😂😂
Read your bible! (KJV, preferably) ♥
I know this video is 7 yo, but the rythm, the stroke, the balance, the mechanic is simply PERFECT! TRUE LEGEND! Thanks for sharing the knowledge 😊
You should teach, how to warm up before a game/workout
Cole Allen I was thinking the same thing
great video! for an upcoming video could you show us how to get power when raising your set point or how to increase range
andreharris119 yessss. I need this!
All about that leg power transferred to the upper body to the ball.
Its actually from the dipping the ball to follow through
"Here's and example" *Shows the same exact shooting from the same exact distance, at the same exact angle
Thank you!!! I hit a slump and realized I was putting my shooting hand under the ball instead of behind it. Now I'm lights out again👍🏻
Aye lethal man I love the art of shooting because of the variety there is, there is so much with your arms, hands, legs, feet, eyes, etc. and you know all about what to do with those mechanics to become lethal
He really does love people. Kids remember his ACTIONS are love.
So consistent on the mechanics😧 wish I could get that
Hey Lethal,
Have you talked about the dip yet? I hope you know what I mean haha. I just want to make sure my knowledge of the dip is consistent with how a professional shooting coach would explain it to his players.
that looks like kd at the back
Lethal, please teach how to shoot over taller defenders. For short people like myself it's really hard to. Stay locked in. Thanks, man.

this mans release is so nice
Loved the video! I really liked the view from the front as you shoot. It helped me understand more than the view from the back. Thank you!
lethal shooter is so lethal steph and kd are getting his rebounds
I love basketball because it made me a better person that works for things instead of getting them and even when i fail its tought me to keep pushing🔐🔐🏀
An example dude you just show yourself shooting. Some of these tips are really good, however you're not going further into detail on how.

You are a real lethal shooter
Here’s an example: doesn’t show how he rearranged the ball 🤦🏾♂️
he does at the end
4:00
Lol "what not to do"
Lethal.. I thought I shot quite well :) until your Aunt Robinette directed me to your TH-cam link- Thanks for the tips.
Wow! Always thought under. Thx ls.
He shoots. Like. curry. He's. jump shot is. smooth. I can. watch. him. shoot. all. day

Lethal lowkey got that release 1 on 2k

Is that Kevin Durant in the white shirt getting the rebound :O
No😂😂😂😂
One thing I'd like you to improve on your videos is the sound quality, buy a microphone or something like that

Get more arc on your shot, it'll feel weird at first, but that's really all you can do
Dude on white shirt looks like KD ! lol
Great shooting man you can shoot

Your amazing
Excellent !!🏅🏅🏅🥇🥇🥇😉⭐⭐⭐🏆🏆🏆👍👍👍👍
"here's an example" - hits repeat.
Thx my g this helps a lot for me with the process of shooting
How to have your feet when catching and shooting (ex stepping in to it with one foot or jumping and landing on both feet like Luke Kenard)
you need to be in the NBA no joke
love u keep doing it.
You should make a video on how to develop a consistent release or how to shoot straight
Fantastic ❤❤❤
Tips to keep balance

Balancing aim and force put into shots next please 🔥💯🔒
I’m trying to work on better footwork and catch and shoot gonna watch these more and follow your steps!
"Thats a 3 pointer!"
I'm gonna try this today bro, haven't played in a year so I'm feeling rusty
Lethal you should make a video on a workout to improve your jumpers
I think I saw 👀 you in a dharr Mann video if I'm NOT Making a mistakes
I'm the one were Jay faked breaking his arm but Mikey really did break his ARM
Yeah ur right
Saw him in one where jay converts to a Jew for money
Great vid. Please teach us how you do the step back.
When you shoot the ball, are you looking at the ball go, or do your eyes lock in on the rim?
Hey lethal. I'm having problems with my shooting power. Allot of the times when i shoot. The ball hits the rim or backboard. I want to have more controll of my power that i put behind the ball. Thank you Lethal :)
That man is a black steph curry
Do you need to fully straighten your guide hand while shooting?
I wanna see him pull up to LA fitness
What would you recommend for getting better/more arch on a shot
it is not bad shooting form but if that was a young player I would try to improve two areas.
a) Don't lower the ball after you caught it to create momentum. Momentum should come from your legs extending into the torso and arms while you are shooting. Get low before catching the ball not after you caught it

use your legs more I had the same problem bro
🔥
Bro where do you find your inspirational stuff, I need to listen to that
Lethal make a video about how you set up your feet on the corner and not step on the line (Making 3s count for 2s)
Thank you sir.
I love you Chris
Thanks lethal I'd like to learn and master the step back and quicker release?
could u do a video on how to build up strength and shoot a fadeaway jumper perfectly
Recently I've been struggling with shooting without jumping, so my free throws haven't been falling. Can you make a video on shooting freethrows.
He doesn’t miss bro like yo he the 2nd version of curry
Man. Big thanks. Really. You helped me a LOT. LOVE U❤🏀
