    I think the biggest advantage of having meta progression in a game like this is that you can play the same game multiple times and have a different experience due to progression. The addition of those rituals for example made the game feel very different. If you take that out you either have a very short game for people that are good, or a LOT of extra work to make the game longer.

      Yes I'd love to see new stacklands, but I can see maybe its not a big enough update to go through it all again. I'll probably have to watch the playlist too

    Strange! Would be interesting to see what full unlock playthrough looks like. In games like this sometimes I feel like the metaprogress is just a way to introduce players to all the mechanics and playstyles slowly. However if it's all really well designed and there's not a clearly superior build, I would also prefer just throwing everything into the pot at once and let people go for it from the start.

    I would love a series on this, but im fine waiting until it's not early access.
    I'm all in favor of meta progress, as someone who sucks at strategy but can grind.

    10:35 no need to build that training camp, it clearly works the same way as a forest, you should use it in places where it isn't a forest. Could have played another healed as a meat shield close to the shrine :)

    On the first boss fight: wouldnt it be much better to start in a corner, spawn units far on the side, and let them buff each other and start clashing on turn 4 or something?

      yes, would've also stopped the boss from damaging the shrine during that time

    Tried the game after the video, the AI just feels too darn clunky, units not moving over to let other units in, supports not sticking with the pack to provide adjacent bonuses, ai moving onto harmful tiles or away from beneficial tiles, no taunting so units that benefit from being tanks can’t really be tanks. Game has potential but there’s work needed on this one.

    Completely lost me when that top unit said it was going down... then it changed and it did something else instead, its no longer a strategy game its random bs
