I would add Ormond Jane Montabaco - I remember checking fragrantica and see Mountain Air as a note. And I was thinking to myself that they are out of the pocket with this one, but man I love how fresh, chill and "windy" that smell come across. And it's a powerhouse.
Ganymede is indeed a strong yet fresh fragrance thats not the typical spring/summer fragrance. I hope you get to try ganymede extrait soon enough and let us know how you find it. I love it but its just a perfect flanker to the original which i think is a masterpiece. For this video, im torn between Gladiator and Wanderlust. Very interested in both but i am now convinced that i should gamble on one of them :)
Great list, I love Salt and Pepper and 40 knots. I’m going to have to try that Francesca Bianchi one because my favorite and most complimented by far summer banger is her “Sex and the Sea”. Three sprays of that and your good for 12 hours. You will smell it on your shirt for a week, and girls absolutely love it.
Wanderlust is a rough take on the first try. But my wife liked it, sort of, and so did I. After another wear, I am liking it a lot. The fig is prominent to me.
To my nose, Sora dora Gladiator really smells like a fresh deodorant, then dries down to something like dior sauvage~ it's not bad, in fact I use my samples at the gym (yes I took 2 thinking I was going to love it) but I don't find it full bottle worthy due to its price (200€/50ml) and it's a bit generic, but it definitely has its place in this list given the performances 😊

I think (confidently know, to be honest) you’d reeeeaaaally dig Ex Nihilo The Hedonist, based on the fact you dig Ganymede and Bois Imperial (African Leather, too). It instantly made the “my house’s on fire!” list, because of my love for BI and AF.
Salt and Pepper is fantastic! Interesting that yours is a greenish color liquid. Mine is a Very dark purple (almost black) I would also add either of the TF Costa Azzurras…beasts on me

It definitely changes over time. For some reason, I loved Tom Ford Grey Vetiver for a while, then it started to make me sick. I got rid of it years back. But I think I like it again.

Justin, what are we even talking about? Nobody buys fragrances only because how long they stick on the skin, but because of the scent. And I just can't agree that it's up to our noses that we stop smelling the scent very fast. No, everybody knows it's not true. It's the poor ingredients, the producers are the problem. On my skin, most fragrances don't last 2-3 hours. But certain fragrances I can smell for such a long time, they just won't go away. So it's not my nose that's the problem, nor my skin - as there are fragrances that really deliver. As someone who loves fragrances it's a love-hate relationship most of the time. There are so many scent profiles that I adore that simply disappear so soon. There are only so few fragrances that are actually worth the money and I think it's the companies that produce them that invest so little in high quality ingredients, or just include a drop of them per bottle.
Here’s my only question for you-if you’re going to put it all on the quality of the fragrance, how do you explain the variability in performance from person to person? I can guarantee that there are fragrances that allegedly last 2-3 hours on you that others would claim 7-8. I have put thousands of fragrances on my skin, and I have yet to experience one that lasted less than 5 hours. Not a single one.

If you try it and like it just buy it. If the price is too uncomfortable, get a decant. Banana republic has one called midnight hour. Similar to Aventus cologne. Cost about 50 bucks. But if you still want the niche then use the original OG Aventus and spray less.

Umm Gladiator is one of the weakest in my 300+ collection, 30 minutes max for just a bad Aventus clone. We know that Sora Dora sends out a lot of free bottles to influences, I got one as well.
I went out on a date, chick was fully clothed, she looked really nice but when she got in the car I quickly got a nasty smell that hit me right away, I played it off, ignored it, continued on our date, we go eat, every once in a while I would get a slap of that smell. We end up going to the hill watching the city, I take her to the back of my truck, I help her up on the truck and I pull down her jeans. Boom full blown smell is right there so close to me putrid. Is coming from her vajaja. Anyways… I tell her I’m exhausted and I have to go. I was disappointed I had wasted my time, but glad it was over. My point is your nose alerts you right away if the smell is good or putrid.

40 knots is similar to Ambre Nuit but more marine and definitely stronger lmao. Plus you can save some money on the Xerjoff compared to the Dior.

There is 2 perfumes from Mancera and Nishane if you mix them together, you will smell the best perfume in world .
