Oh this was good! Yes we saw all kinds of things about Embarkation being a mess. We had absolutely no problem. That balcony was HUGE!!! And yes we have to take advantage of the kids sail free. Can't wait for part 2.
Glad y’all didn’t have issues. Now that we’ve experienced we know what to do differently next time! And yes take advantage of the kids sail free! Definitely saves money!
Its good to get your card first. People have stolen cards from rooms and used the cards because CC were already attached. MSC you have to activate on ship. I like that.
Great opener for embarkation day! Great information about how items that work and doesn’t. Lots of things to do when boarding 😮. Glad to hear you’re happy about the buffet experience. Like your music selections during “b” roll. Looked to be a cold day on pool deck. Now we’re talking!! Ice Cream Bar! Yes you’re right about the balconies that you got. We board her out of New York in two weeks. I will be VLOGging as well. I subscribed and look forward to seeing the rest of your episodes. Jeffrey
Thank you so much! And thanks for subscribing. We found the food to be better than Carnival. We’ve sailed mostly Carnival so we compared it to them. The biggest issue we had with food with MSC is they don’t have any casual dining options that are included like some of the other cruiselines. It’s either main dining room or buffet or you pay an upcharge for specialty dining.
Too funny! I got the same cabin on the opposite side of ship except on deck 13, cabin 13213. We sail September 10th out of NYC. Your videos are giving me a lot of good information. Thanks for sharing a great video. How was your cabin for seeing the sights such Ocean Cay and other ports. Also sunrises and sunsets?
Hi, for the vloggers of Meragvilia so far you are the most detailed but yet kind. I am not sure why some people got lots of bad things to say when they paid a very reasonable price compared to other cruise lines. Btw, you mentioned about the activation of packages, are they not activated all together when you registered your voyage card? I got specialty dining m, wifi, shows and drink packages purchased pre boarding. Thanks
Thank you so much. My experience was very different from what I heard. I went in with an open mind. So you’ll have to activate wifi, reserve shows, and go to Ocean Cay restaurant to make your specialty dining reservations. If you plan to just use the basic wifi that might’ve come with your booking promotion, you won’t need to go to the internet desk. But if you want to upgrade, at least on our sailing, the app would not allow us to just pay the difference for the package/ it wanted the full amount. So had to wait in-line so someone could adjust the price. There’s just some embarkation day kinks they need to work out. But after that hassle, we were good to go and enjoyed our cruise! Have a great time!
Thank you so much for your time and videos I have a question you said at 645 am the line for the buffet eas very long on empbarkcstion day what time did the buffet start?
You are welcome. On embarkation day the buffet opens around 11am just as the first guests board. It gets really busy because cabins aren’t ready til about 1:30 so people hang out there or near the pool until cabins are ready.
I purchased the 3 night specialty package and read that I can book the carousel shows at a discounted rate onboard. Do you book at the screen or with crew somewhere?
There is a stand that they set up near guest services during the day of the shows. You can go there to purchase the tickets. We prepaid for ours online for $12 a person (definitely worth it) but then heard that we couldn’t paid less onboard as well.
Unfortunately we won’t be able to make that trip. We were already booked on a cruise before that cruise was announced. We also won’t be on the one in July because we will be on the Inaugural sailing of Carnival Venezia a few weeks prior. Hoping to join a MAS sailing one day!
You mentioned about not knowing if you had to register your drink package or not and I dont think you told us if you had to or not, was wondering if you had to register it or if it was already applied? Going on the seascape next week and was wondering about it
No you don’t need to register your drink package. It’s the internet, specialty dining, and shows that we had to take care of in advance. But from what I am hearing, each of MSCs ships operate a bit differently (not sure why they haven’t streamlined this process). Hopefully it’s better on Seascape! Enjoy your cruise!
We had wifi included with our promo but didn’t realize we couldn’t swap devices. So we signed in to our phone but my hubby needed wifi on his computer because he worked during this cruise. So yes- we had to pay for wifi. $180 for streaming for one device 😖
🙋🏾♀️I'm new to watching your content and have 3 teenagers.. if possible could you allow one of the teens to showcase the cruises from their perspective?
Thanks for watching. That’s something we’d love to do as well but our oldest, Andrew is autistic (mostly nonverbal) and our youngest son is always so involved in the activities on the ship that he doesn’t think to turn on the camera (and honestly I want him to just be a kid/teen and have fun!). When/if he’s ever ready to get in front of the camera we will definitely highlight their perspectives. ❤️
We were technically in separate cabins. We took advantage of the kids sail free promo. So I booked myself and the 3 kids in a balcony cabin and my hubby in a solo cabin (with drinks and wifi promotion) right across from us. He was offered an upgrade to a standard interior right across from us- and the boys technically stayed in the interior cabin. I’m a travel advisor so I know some of the “tricks of the trade”.
Congratulations on your first sponsorship! Thanks for the information on the new shuttle service. Hope you all had a great time!
Thank you! We appreciate the support! ❤️

Great tip about the large size balcony rooms! Really nice video and sweet family!

Yes that is a really good point! I like that too! Thanks for watching! ❤️

Hey guys! Thanks again for sharing the tour of the ship and giving us good info. One day I'll be doing a cruise. 🙏🏾
Yes you will! Thanks for watching!
Once again I love your videos and the family cruising together. May I ask which editing software do you utilized for your videos?
Thank you so much! I use Filmora to edit our vlogs. It’s simple to use. Nothing too fancy.
@@MHFamilyAdventures well thank you for the reply. You do an awesome job with your videos. We are going to try the yacht club on MSC! Thank you
Congrats on the sponsorship. Next time we cruise out of Orlando, we'll use CCT :)
Thank you! 😊
Thanks for sharing about transportation going to check them out!! Glad Mr Ron shared his fruit punch 😅 can't beat good punch
Ha ha! That’s right! Thanks for watching!
CONGRATULATIONS 🎉🎉🎉 on your first sponsorship.
Thank you so much 😀
They should definitely put reclining lounge chairs on the large balconies
Congratulations on your 1st sponsorship. 🎉
Thank you! ❤️
congratulations on your sponsorship. New subscriber thanks for sharing your experience. i’m going in september and heard that the food was so so.

My cabin was great for seeing both Ocean Cay and sunrises. You’ll want to be on the starboard side to have a view of Ocean Cay while in port.

Your video reviews are at the top! Lots of important info. Didn’t like the MSC method of booking shows and dinner times. Seems looks a hastle.
Glad it was helpful! Thank you! ❤️

Are you going on the MELANIN AT SEA group cruise in Nov ?
Unfortunately we won’t be able to make that trip. We were already booked on a cruise before that cruise was announced. We also won’t be on the one in July because we will be on the Inaugural sailing of Carnival Venezia a few weeks prior. Hoping to join a MAS sailing one day!

@@MHFamilyAdventures thank you for the feedback 😊
Great video! Glad you didn’t have any issues with embarkation, I have seen some nightmare stories. Congrats on the sponsorship! Many more to come!
I just tried to go on and book that shuttle it’s now $50 a person, did I do something wrong. I really like the $25 idea.
It’s $25 pp each way. Here is the website www.cruisecontrol-transportation.com/
I thought both people in a cabin need to get the same drink package and not share🤔
That's why it's a good idea to split the rooms. Only gotta pay for 1 adult. 😁

@@MHFamilyAdventures Ok. That makes sense. Thanks for the video 👍 I'll be on that ship later this year when it sails out of NYC.
@@MHFamilyAdventures But basically that means you are cheating the cruise line for free drinks. You are not supposed to share them.
