Its always good to hear one of these stories that don't end with death or prison.
God’s child will never take him away. Yemaya is blessing him with abundance 💙
Vince staples is literally a pussy how tf his life gonna end in death or prison let’s be real
“It happened” always make me laugh 😂😂😂
He used that same quote in his Netflix episode
when??@@UncleRel
Seem like a legit question to me and a dumb ass answer
That caught me off guard 💀💀💀
"he just admit it?"
It’s so refreshing to hear a story of someone, actually making it out of the hood, and making something of them self. As opposed to ending up dead, or in prison.
You said this perfectly. I wanted to come and write a similar comment like "....I love seeing black men live long and happy amongst the odds stacked against them.... but you're comment is great 👌🏾
Ii
survivorship bias...the one that didn't choose rap is not being reported on
I came here to understand why Vince staples is like the way he’s like lol this dude is very interesting to me
I went to high school with him he ain’t like that lol trust me 😂
@@kenmyers4886lol he has more money than you tho
@@ronniehagen4285 damn
@@ronniehagen4285Glazin to the highest degree

Ramona Park broke my heart hard af
Goat level like his debut
Highkey the album do sound like it should’ve been his first album like a true intro to him
Everything I hear about Vince, through his music and interviews has given me great vibes about his focus on what’s important to him. From my perspective as a fan, that’s his community.
I love that Vince Staples is super cool as an intellectual and a person of da streets.
He's definitely my favorite of this generation of rappers. I love how he comes across old school in how he handled the streets and this music industry.
The show is streaming now on netflix it's genius, It's like Atlanta but long beach and less weird
I felt the same thing
I was doubting it cause of his face but ill give a try😂😂
Just finished it. Shit was superrr good
@@TheturboboosterI held off on watching it cuz I’m not familiar with him but it’s sooo good!
@@damnjae2256 😅😅
It's crazy how he just jumped into rap. He's naturally talented and seems like the last 5 years he's been going full effort
I’ve been following Vince Staples career since I heard him on EPAR on Earls mixtape back in 2010, and have been a fan ever since. It’s been dope to see him grow/evolve over the years and become successful in his own lane.
Yep that’s the same time I heard about him to
@@lsrpjune3500 then found the shynecold v1 and it was over with after that
3:07 “the famous hood hopper” LMFAOOOOO!!!!!
It happened 🤓
Vince doing a video on himself, Idc this him talking😂
It definitely sounds like him a little
I said the same shit 😂😂
It’s his ai he ghost wrote for lol
I rock with Vince heavy !! It’s the funniest ones that’s been through the most! 💯💯💯💯

Finally! Been asking about this one since this channel started! Do more SoCal, Long Beach stories moe. Do Remble next.
U guys kinda sound alike😂😂.. Good job! 🔥
I was thinking that too
Pretty sure it’s AI
I like this story. Vince Staples sounds like a cool dude, multi-talented, went back to the neighborhood to help out. Inspirational....It was a Casey Veggies song (if I remember correctly), that I had first heard him on, then the Sprite commercials. I didn't know he was from L.A.& a Crip until after all that. Good to see that he's something positive & very quite possibly a role model to others..
People from Long Beach don’t claim LA
I don't know why I thought Casey veggies and Vince staples were the same person
I grew up right next door in karson. Vince solid, krazy the amount he accomplished without really being in the industry. Owns his music, the sprite deal (Vince dont even drink soda lol) getting his music in major Hollywood movies that won grammys. Bro really the most unassuming success. Salute to em
Trust me bro freedom is amazing.
He one of the only “weird” rappers I believe mighta caught a body or 2 when he was outside and bruh funny as hell lol
Rumor has it…😂
He's never been in any beef or controversy... might be true but lets not be feds 😂
Poppy street hitter
@@elriquedolf That dont mean nothing that might make him more dangerous than most rappers who chase beef i know a killer when i see one lol
Whats is a "weird" rapper?
Famous hood hooper is krazy 😂😂😂
Dope to hear a story that ended up being good and didn’t end up in tragedy even tho he dealt with some trauma
I remember being a kid a loving Vince man. Feeling the Love was first I heard off of Hell Cant Wait. I felt like could relate. Gangs became involved in my life and idk how i slid off smooth with some of the things i got away with. As well as the fact i grew up in a domestic violence type house as well. Every time he rapped i felt like he was speaking about me. Im grown now and my shit is more together. I dont listen as much anymore but i still reminisce with my friends who are still in the streets of those summers smokin weed in the park listening to Vince. A bunch of youngins with a death wish tryna figure out a path in life
Everybody know Vince went to Atlanta cus he shot somebody shit up.
Always wondered if he caught a body and was hiding out
@@9G0D ion know if they checked out but it was a hit
@@stagee3529 was jabari the get back or unrelated?
Lol why you talking so much
The collab tape with Micheal Uzowuru is called Winter in Prague, and it's wavy 🌊
“…in the Beach, but, niggas crazy in Beach. you’d be smart to keep .380s where you sleep.”
seriously his best shit. michael uzowuru went off on the production too
The Episode 'Whiteboy' brought me here
Was that a true story?
Vince might be the funniest rapper
Him n Gibbs
Vince Staples is tight Personality, Music & Swag
I remember being in high school listening to Shyne Coldchain Vol. 1 and 2, Winter in Prague, Stolen Youth, and Generic.
Seeing his transition been crazy
I still prefer all his old music because it was more raw, like a California version of Big L
Great to see somebody make it to the lights and cameras and even get a show
Buddy had 5 projects drop on Def Jam, and then two drop on Motown. Now his 2024 album is on Def Jam. That’s crazy.
“It happened “😂😂😂😂😂
Vince is so underrated I first started listening to him around the time he worked with odd future. His last album was slept on but It’s one of my favorite. I’m from the eastside of Long Beach I feel he’s the best to come out the city behind snoop.
His joe budden interviews are classic I really recommend yall to go watch it 👍🏽
he's a comedian. hes my favorite whenever he's on joe budden podcast
“Left Jabari on the street til the same came up” Vince staples a poet and genius
Vince crippin tough in his videos
Best show on Netflix hands down 💯
Dawg Norf Norf had me wanting to crip😂😂
How is he born in Compton in 1993? At what hospital? Im from LA and I don't understand people that say they were born in Compton because the last hospital in Compton closed in May 1992.
Nevermind I found it cause I knew it didn't make sense... "He was born in a Bellflower hospital the summer of 1993, a year after the Rodney King riots."
@@SueYungggwhat city is that in?
@@Loch1210 What do you mean? Are you asking what is Bellflower or Compton?
@@SueYunggg yes I’m not from California
@@SueYunggg I know what Compton is of course. I have been there before.

Been a fan of Vince, Kendrick, Odd Future, Mac Miller... for a long time now and given how goofy and funny Vince is, i never knew he was a gangsta in his teen years. So glad he made it out.
If Eddie Murphy had a son Vince staples😅
Respect 💯👍
LBPD Get Sprayed on too Always Keep a GC ask my homies it’s the truth hardest line my son had in a song 🔥🔥
Why I literally just finished listening to that Blue Suede!
At least he didn't die
Saw Vince live during Tyler the Creator’s CMIYGL tour, his energy during the set was amazing and I really want to catch a solo show of his
Why are all of these people making videos like this speak in the same tone and cadence?
Maybe it AI

Before I finish playing the video, I just wanna say: sounds like Vince is narrating this 😂😂😂
How u aint mention Joey Fatts his cousin when u mentioned 2NC
They also started a lil group called Cutthroat Boyz with Aston Mathhews
@@husseinelachi98 yeah I know but it aint relevant to 2NC and LBC
Why Vlad only in the hood interviewing? He can’t interview small hats?
Most love to Vince!
“How I went from GD to Crip? It happened” 😂
A legend in my eyes
He did his thing on Abbot Elementary and that book Cutthroat by Fatts taps in about these dudes. Vince a real one.
Norfside Long Beach
So Vince wasn’t part of TDE?!
one of the best to do it
Vince staples one of
My favorite people

I FAWK WITH MY GUY VINCE, NOT MANY CRIP RAPPERS I FWK WITH BUT VINCE IS ONE OF EM...
He's one of the greatest.

I agree
Crip Rappers > Blood Rappers
Sorry but that gang name funny 😂😂, naughty nasty 😅
2Ns, Brown Rag Boys, Gangsta Crip!
This guy made it to “Abbott Elementary” 🎉
"It happened...," says alot w/out sayin alot...and no, I don't gang nor understand that life.
And his new show is the shit go watch it
Vince understands the industry, that's why hes very straight forward cut to the chance no B.S type of guy! He knows WHATS UP! But this being the way he eats he has to dibble and dabble with them and apparently he despises himself for that, he does enought in order to eat/survive 🤐 Hes an Artist with spiritual moral boundaries! Or At least he tries to appear that ""WAY" 🧐
He look like Daz on the coo
man I thought he was just kidding when he rapped about dead homies in his songs
The way it is
I wouldn’t be surprised if this was actually Vince narrating this lmao. He that type of clown 😂😂
Limos and taxi might be some of my favorite Vince songs norf norf
Joey Fatts is Vince's first cousin too!

This must be about Vince😂
So he's not 20's or Isane , so who they look up to Both?
What lol those not the only two gangs in long beach lol no body look up to no other gang
Mark Nasty lol
Sounds like his mom didn’t respect his dad’s authority in the house. How are you going to throw hands with a man who you’ve had 5 kids with? That’s not the business.
damn
Vince mother shot a man as well (He spoke on this in RPBMH album), they were both gangbangers so old habits die young.
Neither is throwing hands with the woman who birthed your 5 kids.
You not from the hood that’s why. Bitches throw hands and I’m from Baltimore. My cousins and sisters used to really fight niggas they was with. It’s normal to us ain’t nothing to feel bad bout
Ok dr.phil lol
OT genesis? Idk
That is not the reason Vince went to Atlanta lol. Iykyk.
Damn bro called his lil sister a snitched ik yall heard that he tried to catch it
What’s up with bro narrating in third person ⁉️
Norrfffff side long beach
You forgot about a lot of shit like how he started in flirts a high school crew we was all in against flip another high school crew we hated and how Jabari is what really really ruined him and how he didn’t sale drugs only thing he was flipping was weed never nothing else and how one person imma not name was the main reason why he joined crips baby’s and most of the time we were in east side Long Beach and when we were in norf lb we would be over at Romona park and Jordan park skate park and a lot of other stuff you didn’t mention so this really only give you a small piece of Vince
