- Today I invite you to join me thrifting in LA for the first time since I moved away! (COME THRIFT WITH ME!) I met up with my good friend Macy Eleni from Blazed and Glazed, and we checked out Super Thrift in North Hollywood - SO MANY GEMS at this store! They are very plus size friendly, and I found a bunch of cutie items that fit a size 16 gal like myself! Another thrift reunion in the books and I couldn't be happier. Can't wait to go back. if you have jeans that fit you perfectly in one area, butt, thighs etc, you should think about getting them tailored and then you'd have the perfect jeans!!!
I will be having Bariatric surgery in the next few months and so cannot wait to go thrifting in the next year or so for new to me clothes for my new body! Great video!

Dig through the women’s jeans!!!!! Bring a measuring tape and measure the rise! I found a bomb pair that were called faconnable. But investing in good jeans is always 👍👍👍. Also, as much as I love full cotton denim I’m slipping back into the 2% spandex at the thrift! I’ve found some amazing 90’s high waisted jeans
The Y2K shirts are absolutely adorable and they look great on you with pants or shorts! Don’t overthink doll🙌🏼 wear what you like and or love!! 😉 Love your style and videos, btw!!

Oh my Gosh! I grew up in San Diego and the organ pavilion in Balboa Park is so crazy and amazing. In my youth I’ve been to organ concerts and (wait for it) the annual Renaissance Fair at this very pavilion!!! Totally geeking on the sweatshirt. Take a minute and look up the images. I believe Balboa Park (and the organ pavilion) was built in the 20s or 30s when the Fair came to SD back then. Beautiful architecture that’s totally worth a Google. I actually was in SD when we rescued our dog and we went to the organ pavilion to take his puppy pics. Ridiculous and amazing.

Not sure if youve been there before but Deseret Industries in Glendale AZ is a great thrift store it’s THE cleanest thrift store I’ve ever been to plus the prices are pretty great! 🤗

Those first two tops are so cute! That ombré leopard print looks like adult justice, I kinda like it but not the neckline. The zebra print shirt is fun, love the unique neckline and fits the print so well.
Womens jeans are a dream to thrift honestly, I’m a size 18/20 and have good luck in platos closet and goodwills!

I would recommend Levis 550’s or 560’s. I find these styles fit a curvy body the best!

So jealous of all the thrift stores! We only have one store and it's not great. Maybe I need to start including thrift store hunting in my vacation plans!
Vintage seller here!! Something I learned after trying on tons of jeans and having many fails is that rise plays the biggest part in how they’ll fit! I carry a keychain tape measure and try to check the rise and waist before buying! For example, I know my waist size when the jeans have a 13” rise, but my waist size would be different if the rise is any lower because of my hips!! Hope that helps 🥰

I thought they were gonna fit and be high rise but I have had that problem with men’s jeans, it’s hard to find jeans when you can’t try them on or unless you have a measuring tape but I never have one. Same I’m gonna stick to women’s jeans from now on as well
